I always enjoy your reactions but I do want to WARN you about Amygdala. Viewers have to consent to watch it before YT it will play due to the subject matter. I wish I had taken that warning more serious. It was too much for me. I can't watch it again. Many. many other ARMYs also found it triggering. Please give this some consideration before watching.

If you haven't yet, you guys should listen to Snooze from his new album. It's soooooo good. Kinda similar to wildflower? But it features Woosung from a band called the Rose and he has an amazing voice.

This video is connected to Daechwita. Agust D was blonde in his first MV in 2016. Then in Daechwita 2020, a black haired Agust D kills a corrupted king who is blonde Agust D. Now in 2023, the black haired Agust D has become a corrupt mob boss/cop, and a NEW black haired Agust D (without a scar) comes to kill him. So Yoongi continues to kill off versions of himself that veered the wrong way/became corrupt, as he grows and betters/heals himself as a person. And you can see with each MV, the scar heals more. And about "slaves to Youtube"– he may also be referring to record labels/artists who focus on creating viral hits as opposed to quality music. Would make sense since he refers to capitalism/flexing.

Hello guys! Despite being difficult for many viewers, the trilogy that ends with "Amygdala" showcases the birth of the scar of Yoongi . I know that for many people is better to consume music without substance and hear and dance to the beat, and that's ok, but personnaly the reason I stan BTS is the storytelling of their music. So, I'm deeply proud of Yoongi for sogwritting that song that is so personal and honest. I also LOVE the music, his singing (let's not talk about the autotune, because in this case brings layers absolutely amazing to the song) and the musisc video, like always. So, do it if you feel comfortable with that, or not. I will always support you and it has been a fabulous trip of memories of my boys with you. Sarangae! Love from Portugal!

The Amygdala mv goes along w the story as well. Please know that the events he shows/talks about are real and aren't an imaginary plot. So, it's sentimental. I think you'd like the actual song itself too.

I really hope we get some votes for Suchwita, his YT show is so great he goes into detail of how he’s grown and the journey as you say of his change from early years to his more mature self now. He mentioned on the show that this is the last of the August D trilogy and we may not see anymore from August D but instead a Suga. Also yes Amygdala also closes the loop on this journey

I loved loved loved this MV. It’s even more impressive when you realise (as you guys are learning via Rise of Bangtan) what Korean and especially idol culture is like; they’re meant to be perfect so he’s on purpose including the smoking scenes and the violence to challenge the norm of what they can show as artists. He’s also showing the death of his greed and old self as he progresses on his journey; from Daechwita (yes the W is silent!) to Haegeum and then finally amygdala which I can’t wait for you to see but I suggest Abbie brings tissues… love you guys, cuídense mucho primitos 💜

I hope you would be able to watch Suga's concert when it comes out in theaters. I think Gabriel and Daniel will enjoy the band! I thought of both of you when Suga introduced them. And the energy of army was 🔥. Went to both nights in NY and he was amazing!

My interpretation of this song is a modern day Daechwita. So the head of the police is Agust D that killed the king in Daechwita and it's years later, hence the scar. He has become the police chief and he wants to catch the new bad guy Suga. The bad guy Suga is killing and stealing to get the attention of the police chief Agust D. If you notice at the beginning of the video when he is leaving with the bag of money he gives a little nod to the man in that room on the floor who is on the phone with I assume is Agust D police chief. And he is narrowing in on and wanting to catch Suga and kill him and take all the money he has been stealing. Which is exactly what Suga wants. He doesn't care about the money, he is setting up cop/Agust D. At the end when he is being put into the water the guy dunking his head is the guy from the beginning on the phone. He is actually working for Suga and helped to set up Agust D. So once again Suga kills Agust D. I think he is also showing that the king/leader, Agust D, is gone now meaning his struggle with his past self is over and he moving on to a new Suga and new chapter in life. He said at the beginning of this videos premiere that people should watch Daechwita, Haeguem, and then Amygdala MV's. He said in another interview that he is ending the Agust D trilogy so this is him having closer for himself and for ARMY. He is saying he wants to be liberated and be free now. Also, Agust D is Suga backwards and the TD are for Daegu Town which the city Suga is from in Korea. And lastly, sorry this is so long lol, the best explanations videos, in my opinion, are from DKDKTV, and of course ARMY. Thank you for the reactions. You guys are the best 💜💜💜

I love Bookish Theories explanations better because she did an excellent research on Daechwita. How it was done, was like delving into Suga's mindset, so many easter eggs were touched upon. For Haegeum, not sure if DKDKTV is srill doing these, they're not even continuing business together - they have branched out pursuing different paths.
