Ana.g

Ann Dominique

Episode 5 is not on youtube yet?

Katie Sammy

It’s not on YouTube yet :(

TaezedNotConfused

Crapmostank!! I I understood that reference (Bartledoo!). Always the best time with you guys! 💜

BTSJKHEY

I think this is my last video before my Patreon subscription expires this month. Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos about BTS. Sadly, I have to cancel since patreon only accepts credit cards. Hopefully, they'll accept prepaid cards in the future so I can subscribe again. I'm hoping you'll be finished watching all the seasons of Bon Voyage by then so I can binge-watch, because that's my favorite. Anyway, continue loving BTS! I'll just be watching through your YouTube channel.

Seii Ami

It’s still not on youtube or is it just me?

BN

They said there will be a small delay today because they are experiencing some issue, it should be up sometime soon :)

Ailaudy93

Reminder the ages are in Korean age So when Jin said he was 23 it’s 21 and Jungkook was 16 soon to be 17 (less than 2 months)

Alwena Willis

Thanks for the review. Not my favourite time for them though they did not show you the worst bits! I think in the end they probably did get some value out of it but they also experienced some traumatic times as well, especially the younger ones who were still quite young at the time. I would suggest the girls not watch it as it really upset me. They may be at the top now but boy it was not an easy climb for them. I think we who have been in the Army a while and have watched and rewatched nearly everything really appreciate what they have been through and the strength of their personalities and the love that they have for us their fans. Our beautiful Jin will be joined any day now by J Hope and so the moon and sun of the group will be absent for a while and so a little bit of darkness will descend on us. The only blessing is that Jin will only have to wait four months until he has a member with him again after he is discharged, and unfortunately you still would not have made it to the 100th episode of Run BTS does that not sound so strange! Have a great week, my song is failing in the polls again such a shame, ‘Your eyes tell’ is such a brilliant song. 💜💜💜💜

Lol seeing you guys get so defensive when they guys are disrespected warms my purple heart. Such an army thing to do! Please don't be too put out by Coolio's demeanor though. I agree it was unnecessary but much of it was hammed up for the production. But he was also not wrong to want them to take it much more seriously. Hip hop is rooted in black culture and history and he wanted to make sure they understood the context (which many of the members didn't fully understand at that time). While BTS did get some inspiration from khiphop they owe their roots to black hiphop which you'll hear about if you ever get a chance to hear their song "Hip hop Phile". If coolio didn't care about them then he would've never agreed to do this show. Don't forget you're seeing an edited version of their entire interactions. They learned a lot from him and he believed in them even at this stage in their career and continued to support them long after. (he celebrated their early wins and awards on twitter). Just didn't want you to hold a grudge against him because of this one episode because he truly did support our boys. May he rest in peace. 💜

J.N

Guys remember korean age is different than America so when V said he was 20 he was actually 18. Their ages are 16-21 here

j

Love seeing Gabriel being more cheery these days! American Hustle LIfe isn't as bad as they say and rather enjoyable, so I would love to see you guys react to it when you have an available time slot. xoxo :D

Lajimolala

Bernie Sanders 🤣🤣🤣

Tay Tay

There was a comment left by Kenni B on your video on YT. I hope you all read it and understand the Black perspective of why that scene with V needed to happen. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Lane. L.

@Daniel...before, when Jhope is trying to say something about food and can't say it in English...he'd act like scooping food and brings it to his mouth and say, "Nyam, nyam..." 😂 Will miss our sunshine, he'd be enlisting one of these days. Then eventually the rest of the members. 😔💜

Infinite Ree

LOL Did he actually say Bernie Sanders???!!!!!

SugaIsMyPetRock

Did I miss you guys saying the reason you aren’t reacting to the bonus content as well? You really are missing out on valuable content:) I changed my tier on your Patreon for the extra TROB videos I guess I just expected both deleted & bonus to be included. Borahae

indira lusthoff

you guys ready to fight for V, you guys are definitely ARMY 😍

Ali

AHL was definitely cringey and uncomfortable in a few parts but BTS learning more about the history and culture surrounding hip hop was very necessary. Some of the members early looks, hairstyles, and on-stage attitudes came from a very skewed view of hip hop and rap culture and the interactions from this series helped them approach their music with a more genuine appreciation for the artists who came before them. And when you see some of the behind the scenes and extra footage you can tell certain aspects of the show were played up quite a bit for the production. Unlike a lot of their other internally produced content that keeps footage more genuine, the AHL series was produced more like we understand western reality tv to be done. A lot of extra dramatization for effect.

BtsOT79798

You’re missing extra content by not watching the deleted scenes as well

Infinite Ree

I think they meant deleted in addition to the bonus. Initially I thought they were doing both also but apparently that's not the case.

Jamon

Did anyone else notice when Daniel was talking about the "Kings of Comedy" members he called "Bernie Mac" "Bernie Sanders"? 😂😂

IDEA Girl

You will see from time to time someone in the group is asked to rate them on looks. Either in an interview or a RunBTS episode or just amongst themselves. They live in the idol world where looks are important. And unfortunately it seems that Jimin was always picked last....thus his t-shirt said 7 th in looks. Interestingly enough it never seemed to bother him because he knew he was cute whether he was the best looking or not. He was always doing g cute things and making them laugh.

Kat

Yo I got startled at 7:20ish 😂 I wasn’t expecting to hear ICP and see bts in the same screen ESPECIALLY not with Toxbox playing

Helen H

I thought it's jhope or RM too last but they usually do it not seriously tho I see why it can be taken badly

Armystic

The bonus content and deleted scenes really are such a treat bc the episodes typically have the heavier moments … so it’s always nice to laugh after. I am sad we can’t do both but I get why totally… just so many parts that I hope you get to see before you forget the context of the moments bc that may be what happens … so it may not be as funny missing jokes and continuation of moments from the episode… but if you guys decide to do them one day when your schedule permits.. that’s cool too! Pumped for free reactions woohoo! Have a great weekend guys

Kearyce Moore

Being born an African American woman made me appreciate them for learning about the black community, hip hop, history and etc even though it was cringey.

Kearyce Moore

Daniel do you mean Bernie Mac not Sanders?😂

SNBangtan

So j-hope and Jin worked with a Beatboxer here but j-hope already had some beatbox skills. It's something he'd done before he joined Big Hit or BTS. j-hope's hip hop roots run deep.

Monica Burton

I burst out laughing when he said it. I wished I had editing skills because I would've photoshopped Bernie Sanders over Bernie Mac.

Monica Burton

I even went as far as to imagine what the poster would look like with Bernie Sanders photoshopped in.

Lea

This is so much fun, thanks for doing this! I totally understand that it already takes up so much time watching all of this but I really hope at some point you can go back and watch the deleted scenes also. There is is so much more to see in those that you're completly missing out on especially givien the fact that one would probably never see those clips anywhere else but in RoB.

Mira

check out the deleted scenes too, they're funny :D

BZ

The worst part about watching this series with you guys is that I have to two weeks for the next one 😩😢☹️ I love watching you react to these and it is so good to know how invested you are in their journey! Can’t wait for the next one 😊

Jules

I’m dying!🤣 When you were talking at the beginning, my subtitles were on and said, “We’re going to watch, The Rise of Bonkstein!”🤣😂 I had to double check what Daniel said, hahaha! I’m crying!🤣😂💜

zofeya

It was almost always Jungkook being asked to rank the members in interviews, to the point where it became sort of a running gag. I think he would rank Jimin last because he thought he would take it the best. JK was always teasing Jimin in that way back then. Later on, though, we learned that Jimin WAS deeply insecure about his appearance, which makes it sort of sad. Once JK realized this, he stopped ranking him last, and started ranking him first. :)

LoveOT7

It was Cedric who said that on Kings of Comedy.. still my all-time favorite

Angela McDonald

Daniel his name was not Bernie Sanders that’s a politician an old one at that it’s Mack ☺️☺️☺️. Gangster Paradise by Coolio from movie Dangerous Minds. Iconic song RIP Coolio.

Betty Suwan

Hey guys, please consider pausing TROB to watch the official BTS documentary series once you come closer to the 2017 timeline (might be a while yet since you have only watched up to timelines around 2014) when they started to make their first series such as Burn The Stage, because that happened in 2017 and was filmed during their Wings tour era, followed by Bring The Soul which they filmed latter part of 20182019 and lastly Break The Silence, thanking you all in advance💜

VancityGal

Guys, don't be too mad a Coolio. I think they asked him to play a drill sergeant role to make the show more interesting. I think Bangtan were aware that things were being played up for the show. I do think he may have taken it a little far at times but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. In reality shows they tell you what to say and how to act. As a 90's brat, I've seen a lot of Coolio and he has always seemed to be a chill and stand up guy. He also ended up teaching the boys a lot so Army are super grateful for the role he played in their success. Plus, V dancing to Gangsta's Paradise is the funniest sheeeet I've ever seen in my life. It's the best!!! You gotta see it! May Coolio RIP! We're grateful for him as fans. 💜

Yasmine SB

I agree... I think they should react in the chronological order of the releases, both for music and other contents.

koma

why do you not watch both deleted scenes and bonus content? why only pick one? if anyone has a answer for me please respond

Seneca

love you guys' reactions! just a friendly reminder– when they say their age, they're likely referring to korean age. so Jin said 23, but he's probably actually ~21

Jéssica Molinari

They are so CUTEEEE! Side note: here in Brazi when you say something at the same time as someone, you have to find something green to touch XD The one that cant get something green, you slap them on the head XD

zana?

a lot of yall are mad at Coolio (a black man who is also an hip-hop legend and icon) for trying to make sure BTS know that hip-hop isn't an aesthetic. . . and i see how some of yall view him as a bit harsh (me) but as a black person i need yall to realize a lot of these groups think we're a mockery. something they can wear and use as a accessory and aesthetic when it benefits them. so when i see non black people speaking on this it rubs me the wrong way. it's giving weird. and it's not some of you guys space or place to speak on. . . this is the life of millions of black people we're talking about. and BTS needed to learn and grow from their past mistakes as people who partake in the culture. and i see that they have and continue to do so. and for that i love, respect and admire them. i love them so much.

zana?

and it blows me because it's a whole lotta non black ppl people speaking on it and they don't understand what an impact this experience had on the tannies and how they view hip-hop, rap and black culture.

Mayra

You guys should see Tae speaking Spanish. He did a cooking show in Mexico and he was great

MinChim

You're 100% right about that, I felt some type of way (I'm also Black) when they spoke on how he was treating them, but they have to remember that he felt disrespected by some of the things that V was doing. To him and many others hip hop isn't a joke its their life. My thing is don't speak on it unless you really know what your talking about.

zana?

exactly. they're speaking on and in a space they don't belong in. a black space. they don't understand so they shouldn't even be speaking on it. and that's just that.

2023-04-12 05:14:06 If you get the chance, watch the clips of their trip to California for AHL American Hustle Life. It was a beginning for the boys although V was mistreated badly by the Late Mr. Coolio, (died Sept 2022) no loss to a snot like him. In reality V has surpassed that man’s prideful attitude which I am sure he was wishing he had treated all of them with more respect. As the saying goes “respect requires respect.”Nate and Tony were the best and great mentors who stayed there with the boys. It was a harsh prank, at the start especially poor JK who was only 16 yo, but Bang PD is known for always pranking them, as you continue down your BTS journey you’ll see more of his type of humor. Tony is who gave Jimin the name of Chim Chim, which is now the name of Jimin’s BT21 character, the little yellow puppy face. This Series is actually very interesting to their early history, although they didn’t continue down that path of Hip Hop. There are many elements of the Genre, that they used in their last Album and MV’s of that series “Dark & Wild” and their hit son “DANGER”. A few interesting facts, the IRIS Stevenson the lady who mentored V, Suga & JK is the character based on played by Whoppi Goldberg in SISTER ACT 1 & 2. The Music producer who assisted Bang PD & BTS with the use of his studio also later played a part in BTS’s production of their 2020 Hit release of “ON”. When they talk about their struggles this is where you really see it played out by the Maknae line in getting people to attend their concert. To think how steamy hot that room was packed with people for a short 45 minute concert. People in standing room only even mentors stood. After watching this you will say “ WOW!” This is by knowing where they are today and how they got there. I hope you get to watch AHL. I was surprised at Gabriel’s outburst in the treatment Coolio showed to V. I felt the same way when I watched the episode. Gabriel is always so quiet, I think that was the first from him all the times l’ve watched your channel. Thank you Gabriel for standing for respect of other’s without prejudice of knowledge or talent. V is my bias since day one having watched him grow up (he is the same age as my granddaughter) only 18yo during this period.

You might always got confused at their age bec they are following korean system.. but actually during american hustle jin is only 21 haha

Aleigha Willis

The kings of comedy reference in the beginning 😂😂😂 I love that special
