Finnish Army here! It's really bright in the summer here, especially in the North where the boys are in this season of BV, because part of the country lies above the Arctic circle. Basically it means the sun doesn't set at all (up north) or just for a few hours (in the south) during the summer. In the winter it's the opposite - it's dark for months on end with just a few hours of daylight a day, which is very tough :P

Oh, and "Hyvää Hyvää" means "Good Good" - the phrase is in Finnish but isn't really a saying here. It was used in a Korean ad in the past for xylitol (which is used to make gum, like you mentioned in the beginning of the video) because xylitol gum was invented in Finland (xylitol basically comes from the birch tree, which is out national tree) :)

in Scandinavia it´s only dark for about 4-5 hours a day in the summer mouths. and in winter it´s the other way around. the farther up north you get the hours of light or dark gets smaller. in Greenland it´s light 24 hours a day in summer. same with Antarctica so many people have a hard time adjusting living here. you can also get winter depression from the darkness and people with darker skin need vitamins D supplements it´s even harder for them to adjust.

The boys are always playing and there's a version with two hands as well, you'll see it a loooot during Run BTS too, so if you watch this you'll be less confused. yayy i have so much fun watching BV with you guys, by the way about the rock paper scissors!! You will hear them say Gawi Bawi Bo which is their name for rock papers scissors, and then when doing multiple runs they just say "Bo" in between. AND the weird "gun sign" they do with their thumbs and index finger is actually scissors xD

You see the midnight sun in the Nordic countries which are close to the Arctic Circle. We holidayed in Iceland during the summer a few years back and it was so difficult to sleep at night since it was always so bright. x :D

the word that they used was hyvaa = hyvä, which means good in finnish, it was probably the only word that they knew in finnish so they kept saying it. Good day would be ”hyvää päivää”, so idk why google lied to yall :D i loved ur reaction as always !!!

Converse High and then near the end it was Butterfly. Butterfly has two versions, one is longer than the other and it's just vocal line, which is called the "Butterfly Prologue Mix/Version". The version you heard in the episode is the normal version which includes both vocal and rapline - that's just called "Butterfly".

what did we miss? we do try to pay as much attention as possible but if we're in the middle of laughing or talking about something we saw then we may miss little tiny moments. We don't always pause each time we talk cause the episodes are already longer, and this isn't common for shows. But just know we'll catch most stuff, but miss little things. And we also rely on the comments and discord to help fill the gaps.

Hobi JK and Jin drive the most on their trips, after that Yoongi. RM can't drive, lol. At that time only Jin, Hobi and Yoongi had their license, Tae and JK got it later, and Jimin got it in 2020, and RM still rides his Bike.

Okay I posted this on the last Run Ep but am I the only one that gets subtitles on their videos of what they are saying?? is hard for me to watch cuz the subs cover half of the screen they are showing and I dont know how to fix it. I'll just have to unsubscribe if it keeps happening cuz there's really no point staying if I can't watch their content which is a shame cuz I like Watching them discover BTS.

Lol fun fact but bts are official rock paper scissors ambassadors according to the World Rock Paper Scissors Association. They explain the rules of multi-player rounds here: https://wrpsa.com/bts-are-official-rock-paper-scissors-ambassadors/ (Essentially they don't pair up, they keep going until only two signs are shown. Also they do use traditional signs. The only reason why you sometimes see the gun is because it's faster to form than the two fingers for scissors but it stands for scissors.)

In Korea they say “scissors, rock, paper” “gawi, bawi, bo“ BTS has used it for years to help decide things in a fair way between them. I gained weight watching Bon voyage...they eat all the time! I'm not even mad about it though. I like their mukbangs.

I know you guys aren’t doing the like 5-7 min behind the scenes.. but you’re missing out on so many iconic moments that they joke about for years.. you’re gonna be lost on all of that lol the behinds are the members personal cameras they’re carrying them around and filming themselves. It’s much more of them being silly and how they naturally interact with one another and different likes and dislikes kinda thing. Those are much more personal to the members.. and the one with them all singing and dancing doing girl group choreography in the living room together hyping each other up and being so extra was one of the best parts of the first episode but it was a deleted scene… these things would def be more difficult to grasp if done long after the episode so they may be less enjoyable for you guys bc you’re gonna have a lot of questions is all

One of my FAVORITE Jimin moments comes from the behind cam for this episode where he's cleaning the dishes and says "...rather than a perfect man, isn't a man you can work with more attractive? I'll work WITH you." It is seriously one of my favorite things. Cause like...yeah...rather than having someone PERFECT who doesn't help with any thing at all, I'd rather have someone who is willing to stand beside me and help me with cooking, chores, household things, anything really even if they're not perfect.

Rewatching this with you is such a pleasure! Also this first season of BV gave me anxiety. I laughed so much when Daniel said Namjoon would have driven the van... Still to that day, he doesn't have a driving license. Poor Namjoon, he must have felt so bad :( Also I still don't understand how he could go back to Korea after debarking from the ferry.

I really hope they'll do it chronologically. BTS in 2016 has very little to do with BTS 2020 in terms of means. Also they grew up so much!

So not sure if you know, but funny thing about Paper, Scissors, Rock is that BTS were named as ambassadors by the official World Rock Paper Scissors Association due to the fact they play it so frequently and efficiently. Completely true and you can look up the official website where they proudly name BTS as ambassadors.
