Good Morning VIP Primos!

Welcome back for Episode 3 of BV.  Where the "hidden camera" pranks continue 😅

First things first, you'll notice in this video we are still using QDEOKS. We have since found a better method of watching where we don't have to worry about episodes being cut short or bad audio quality. But a few episodes were recorded in advance due to some scheduling conflicts. It'll be resolved soon. Thanks for understanding 😊

Well the chaos of this first trip doesn't seem to be slowing down haha. We can't wait to see how they do in all the countries 😂

Loved to revisit Bon Voyage again with you guys. Everytime I miss all 7, I rewatch Bon Voyage. Season 4 is my favorite

Like I commented previously, they are on a budget to make "BV" more fun and more relatable to the average army who doesn't travel like rich celebrities. They were flying business class during this period but some of their European connections don't operate business class. They keep leaving stuff behind since they are used to having personal managers who look after their every need and this is the first time they've travelled overseas without their managers. V was able to see through the boys' bad acting during the prank since their bond is so close and they literally have a song called "Telepathy" (you laughed at V's dancing during their performance to this song in their Festa 2021 vid). xoxo

Bon Voyage episodes are the best! I crack up everytime. The ferry ride was 5 hours. I love y'all's reactions! I hope you're enjoying your mini vacation as well! ♥️

Remember the reason V came a day later is because he was filming a kdrama? I’m sure he was using that time to practice his acting on the boys while he was away from the film set. Lol. If you want to know the drama he filmed, it’s called, “Hwarang”. It’s a really great drama to react to and V’s acting was incredible in it. I would do some kind of special folder on patreon for reactions to that drama if you guys choose to react to it. It would be cool for to see what you guys think of it.

"Do you know BTS?" Lol this was the start of Jin's iconic line in every season of BV 🤭 The boys, since their debut, were all used to having managers around them taking care of all their things while they just mind their jobs as performers. Therefore, the result is this chaos of losing a lot of things 😩😅 With that prank on V, if you'll pay closer attention to what Jimin said that he was about to get mad too and say "Are u crazy?" when Tae was getting mad and shouting back at Jin, there goes their important culture of respecting their elders. They can't just yell or shout at someone older than them no matter how close they are. It's a big deal for them if they disrespect Jin or anyone older than them, no matter who the correct or wrong in a situation. Just shows how much they respect each other even if they treat each other as close brothers 🥰💜 And for Tae to spot right away that they're acting totally shows how well they know each other. Ahhh I miss them all together like this 🥺 I am happy with all their solo successes, but them together still hits differently in my heart. I miss my Jinnie too sooo much. I miss when he and Yoongi cook for the members like this. So thank you for this vid, guys!! I enjoyed watching with you four. Borahae CCW! 💜

I love it that at the end of the episodes you talk about what has happened...that shows that you are paying attention!! Not everyone does that and i watch a lot of reactors but you are for real my favourite. Some people just watch these things and end right after its over...but you speak about all that happened and what you liked etc.!!!

not really related to bon voyage but: It'll be interesting if they watch the BTS documentaries - burn the stage and all the subsequent ones since they are interested in concert stages for performances. I hope they do. :)

For the money part if they don’t have enough sometimes the staff will give them more money in exchange for them doing something! That’s why jimin kept dancing and acting cute to see if they’d give in! You’ll see later on too they make them do more stuff to earn more money

Something that might have been missed since subtitles go by quickly is that all these "pranks" were done because the members actually almost lost there belongings. It is the same with RM and V's bags. They actually lost them and the staff found them and decided to do hidden camera pranks.

@Ayazhan There's a difference between joking around (like Kookie does) and actually yelling at someone older than you. The famous fight Jin and Tae had before one of their concerts was precisely because Tae was talking back to someone older than him. Yeah, they're like brothers, but they do talk to their older members differently, especially when they're being serious. That's why they've made a big deal of allowing the younger ones to use banmal with their hyungs after a game, for example; it's not something they'd normally do.

They were all so young. My kids as teens certainly didn't understand how to travel on their own either. Especially to another country. My personal trip to MEXICO at age 27 was hard....lol and they spoke English....

Watching Bon Voyage and In the Soop you’ll see how much the members are eating. They really eat so much and it is so much fun to watch them especially when they are the ones preparing their meals

You guys are funny. But I know it's hard to read the subtitles and watch. Daniel didnt catch it was a flashback.Summer just asked how long was the ferry ride. And it was just in the subtitles. 5 hours. So of course they were hungry. Especially since they had only eaten half a meal. And they had not had breakfast. Note: They could only take this trip traveling out in the public on an airplane on a ferry walk around and shop and go to restaurants because they weren't well known yet. No way could they do that now...or forever. They would be swarmed. Also, they are so new there are no bodyguards. You do know they are surrounded by body guards now. Entering and exiting airports...really anywhere they go. And yes, they had to ration out money. There company was not famous or rich yet. Ironically, Jin comes from a very rich family. He could have paid for the whole trip and luxury meals. His grandfather was founder and CEO of a tuna canning company. Then when he retired he gave the position to Jin's dad. His dad is the 50th richest guy in South Korea. That's pretty good. Jin had his own credit card from Day 1. He used to pay for some of their food. Take them out to eat. But here on the show he is humble and lives the life of a poor idol. Jin now has a black credit card. Very few people have one I forget from what company. It has no limit on it...ever. That's how rich he is now. But they are all that rich now.

It's not just Korean culture, in pretty much most Asian culture, age plays a part in our customs and tradition to respect your elders. Perhaps Korean are more strict in terms of even talking to anyone older for that matter. But usually in most Asian setting we don't raise our voice talking to people older than us. Even in a confrontation or in an argument, things can get heated, yes, sometimes young people forget too, but usually we are mindful to watch our language when it comes to talking to people older than us. We don't address people older than us by their names usually.. we have sister or brother in front of their names or simply address them as such when we talk to someone new. This doesn't really change even as we grow older. It's just in-built and taught to us to be respectful from young. Plus, it makes one of good character anyway right, to be respectful when talking to people? Online or in person?

This was around 2016, when BTS was just getting famous, so their company is still frugal about these travel budgets. I think that's why they had limits on how much they can spend on food. T.T BTW, none of the boy's pranks were "fake" incidents. Their stuff was found by the staff after they left it because. XD The staff just used them for pranks.

Lenny you are right. I am South Asian and if I ever talk to my older siblings or cousins in a bad manner or with anger/insults, I will be told off by others around me or by my siblings/cousins, even if I am right. I honestly used to get annoyed at this when I was younger, since I am the youngest amongst my siblings and cousins, but now I really love it about our culture <3 :) So when I see that between BTS members, I feel a connection because I grew up the same way!!

Rule #1 of watching Bon Voyage is - NEVER watch on an empty stomach, unless you want to be craving food half-way through. And yeah, they do lose things a lot. Especially in this first season. You guys missed the subtitle that said that "after a 5 hour ferry ride" right before they went to get the hamburgers. So yeah, they ate brunch, spent 5 hours on the ferry, then got off in Flam and ate burgers before getting on the train and traveling around all day. So they left before breakfast, and didn't get back until dinnertime. All day trip.

I am Asian too and this is how we were raised as well 💜 But yeah Koreans might be stricter at this sense coz even Yoongi who's only 3months younger than Jin still does not drop honorofics between them. I love it when I see the members like this but still the hyung line plays around the younger ones. It's just so organic seeing them like this, it should inspire us too to be more respectful towards others, esp we are all ARMYs. 💜

To follow up with what Megan said... After sightseeing, they did return to the same town, but had moved to a different hostel. We didn't get to see all of that in the episode, but you were not imagining them packing in the morning. Their suitcases and stuff were relocated to the new place before they caught the ferry. The first place they stayed was upstairs in a different part of town, the new location is down on the waterfront. If you were/are able to watch the bonus content, you'd get to see a lot of the stuff they edited out of the episodes. There's definitely more to watch and some details that get lost, because of this. They state a lot of these things in the subtitles and can be easily missed.

Such a fun episode! I wonder though if it's too much work when you edit if you pause when you comment or talk about the scenes? It's just that you miss many of what they say because you were also talking to each other, like the iconic line Taehyung said on the train that his eyes were big for a reason so he caught early on that the boys were pranking him Lol! Or when you wondered how long they traveled on the ferry that they had to eat again. It was in the subs that it was a 5-hour trip because you guys were doing your commentary...and a couple more actually :( I'm sure ARMYs wouldn't mind if you keep on pausing because we would also love to hear your thoughts without you rushing through what you have to say because you had to read the subs, watch and all :( No matter how long it takes, we will watch with you and finish watching the entire episodes with you. I feel bad missing out on small details. I'm so excited for you to enjoy the BV journey I wish you also don't miss anything. BUT, regardless how you do your reaction videos, I'm down. LOVE YOU guys and whatever works best for you. If pausing a lot takes too much work editing, then never mind Lol! I'm happy we are all in this Bon Voyage ride together and I'm having fun re-watching with you! Borahae!

We saw JK used it to buy a snack from a vending machine LOL and Taehyung for his Vlog when he ate in this small resto. Namjoon shops for art pieces like they are pieces of clothing and with a black credit card anybody can do that. Our boys have come a long way and deserve all the success. They've worked so hard they deserve all the good stuff

hey guys! i know you mentioned trying another service for watching these already, but I definitely think it is important since this episode, like the last, lacks some scenes. i'm not sure why qdeoks did this, but sometimes some context is lacking because of the cuts (like where was suga last episode?) lol. like in this episode, they are literally wearing different clothes in the first clips compared to when they are getting on the boat (suga's hat is different, jungkook is wearing his white sweatshirt but was wearing the jumpsuit before, and tae's non-turtleneck turned into a turtleneck)

Hello Elonda! This is one of the reasons why I've fallen for Jin when I got to him deeper. V was my first bias and I love him sm too. But when I got to Run BTS, Jin got my attention as he can make me laugh on a very gloomy day. He became my happy pill. Then I looked more into things about him including his singing skills 🥰 And I found out about this too. I've admired how he is a humble gem, going thru all the hardships of being an idol when he's from a well-off family. He also took care of the boys as a big brother, esp JK buying him meals and bringing him in his family's house from time to time 🥺🤧 Now that we talk about it, I am missing Jin so much 😭🤧💜

Definitely recommend having snacks for shows like Bon Voyage & In the Soop, they eat so much so you’ll get hungry every episode lol, snacks are always a good choice 😂

Bon Voyage 1-3 they have a budget that is given by the staff. They are not allow to to use the own personal money or bank cards, Bon Voyage 4 sky is the limit when they were given all the freedom to use their own personal money and was given a credit card by the staff.

@Ayazhan I wonder how long have you been following the boys to know very little about them. Anyways, it is up to you on how you'll take our words here. However, wouldn't it be very obvious to see 37 something hearts in our words versus your hostile words that no one even bothered to click a like/heart 🤷 Just sad to know that this is how you see and perceive BTS when they are so much more. I hope you'll get educated more along the way 😕

One thing I learnt early in my BTS journey is you either need to eat before you watch them or have snacks on hand cos those boys make you hungry in very episode !!!!! They just eat all the time hehehehe ... so be prepared PRIMO's

EK speaks the Truth! So when are you guys going to video yourselves going to a Korean restaurant and tasting Korean food? I love Bulgogi. Korean ribs. Pickled white radishes. And I used to buy these at my local HEB olive bar....pickled garlic. I would eat them like pickles. But I don't think they are on their olive bar anymore. But go check. They are worth it. I love Kimchi, but real Korean kimchi is so hot it will burn your mouth! Enjoy!
