Good Morning PRIMOS!!

As everyone saw from the schedule, there was a slight change of plans. But at least in this case, it works to everyone's favor!!

The energy was fantastic and we can only imagine how the whole concert went 👀. We did learn one thing, we have MUCH to explore when it comes to the talents of HOBI!

Hope you guys enjoy, and we'll see you in the comments!

omggg im earlyyy (currently in class lol)

Stanie

Yay 😀

Zoe

hope y’all get to see the rest of hobipalloza!

OT7Bangtan

This was my first live BTS anything. Hope killed it!!! I requested the day from work way before I had tickets. There was no way I would miss it. I'm not a fan of large crowds or heat, but to see this man for just an hour I would endure it. He was phenomenal! Being amongst a crowd that electrifying was unreal. ARMY is indeed the greatest fandom.

OT7Bangtan

Here's a few fun facts about that day... -Lollapalooza was nicknamed "Hobipalooza" -Hope was the FIRST KOREAN to headline -Ticket sales skyrocketed once Hope was added -Sundays are usually the lowest-selling ticket day, but Hope had the most tickets sold in the festival's 31-year history -Hope's set started 10 minutes early -He sold over $1 million in merch before he performed -He performed a medley of 20 tracks (17 solo songs) -There was a plane that flew over the park with a j-hope banner -The other merch shops sold ARMY Bombs (someone thought ARMY Bomb was a band) -There were over 100,000 people in attendance (not 100,000 ARMYs) -Out of the 48 performers on Sunday, Hope was 1 of 6 performers with sign language interpreters -Jimin flew out to support Hope -ARMYs were outside the park hours before it opened -Green Day performed at the same time as Hope (if you listen closely, you can hear them) -It was so hot they had to pass water bottles and spray us with water

Infinite Ree

I was theeeeerrree and the crowd was so hyped, Hobi was phenomenal and I was riding on a post concert high for over two weeks! I need a time machine so I can go back 😅 Edit: Also adding that the band was next level out of this world good. I figured you all would love that as musicians.

zaphyre

Hobi wasn't an underground rapper (he only learned to rap as a trainee), he was however part of an underground dance crew called Neuron and if I am not mistaken they even won a national level award! He was always meant to be on stage. Also his stage name back then was "Smile Hoya" xD so he was also always meant to be "Hope"

Lisa

I was there too with my college-age daughter and two ARMY friends. It was the BEST. DAY. EVER. We had a blast!! Hobi was beyond phenomenal. Hobi sang songs from his first solo mixtape ("Hope World") and his first solo album ("Jack in the Box"), as well as solo songs he's done with BTS, plus "Chicken Noodle Soup" which I know you're adding to YouTube tomorrow. This song is from "Hope World," but I was so proud of us ARMY who knew the words to "Jack in the Box" just as well as "Hope World," even though JITB was only released about 2 weeks before this performance. We worked HARD. :-) I am 56 years old and had never been to Lollapalooza (my younger brother went to the first one, so it started just a few years after "my time" I guess...lol). I was a little nervous about it, to be honest, but as always ARMY was super and it was just a day of unadulterated fun. We ended up being a lot closer to the stage than we planned to be...lol Most of us did have our ARMY bombs, and you're right that they don't connect to concert mode, but we just turned them on to white (and occasionally to other colors that matched the concert feel). There were also a lot of non-ARMY there, and hobi was very well received by those "locals" as we call non-ARMY. I heard and saw stories of locals asking ARMY if they could hold their ARMY bombs for a song because they thought they were so cool, of security guards not being about to keep from looking back at the stage, etc. There were also a bunch of comments online about how good he was. He worked SO hard for this performance - to the point that ARMY was kind of concerned. I was almost relieved when it was over so he could rest...lol I recommend saving the rest of the concert for when you can watch it all at once. There is also a behind-the-scenes video for it, and on Februrary 17 there will be a documentary on Disney+ about the over 200 days hobi spent creating Jack in the Box and preparing for this performance. I can NOT wait for this documentary. It's called "j-hope in the box." Also, I 100% understand and respect the "no curse words" rule on your YouTube channel. Glad you still watched this - I've been waiting for you guys to experience our Hobi's solo work! :-)

Crow tits is Baepsae in Korean, and they have a popular song named Baepsae

Anonymous

I hope ya’ll eventually watch Silver Spoon (dance practice video and live performance) and the explanation for the song because it is AMAZING. I know ya’ll like their newer pop songs but….the rap line really makes BTS the best for me. Really enjoying your journey! Thank you for the positivity 💜

ceej

Fun fact! A crow-tit (baepsae) is a small bird. In Korean, it is often compared to a stork which is a bigger bird: “In Korean society, crow tits refer to normal people/lower class or the younger generation while storks refer to the 'better' higher class people, or supposedly, the older generation.”

VALERIE MORAN

When they release the doc for this on diney plus this weekend you guys should watch it. Even if not for a reaction just for YOU guys. I'm so excited for it

Kara

Just to tell you guys; you still havent seen NOTHING of them!! Waiting for House of Cards (my favorite BTS Song ever) and Outro: Tear (my fav rap line song)

KP

Jimin was there. During the song he pointed up at Jimin who was backstage on a platform looking down at Jhope, during the part where he sings about the boys. There is a documentary coming out on weverse and Disney plus about Jack In The Box Album. Feb. 17th

Katie Feld

He introduced "Jay" to us this night, and we've never been the same.

Redg C.

a crow-tit is a kind of bird with small legs. this is a callback to bts' song baepsae (this is the korean title, the english title on spotify is silver spoon) baepsae makes a reference to the korean saying "If a crow-tit (or parrotbill) tries to follow a stork, it’ll split its legs" (translation from doolset) meaning the younger gen can never catch up if they do not have the abilities/tools/environment/advantages that older gen has. in baepsae, they did kind of a commentary on how the older generation complain on how millennials/gen z are "lazy" but the thing is the cards are stacked against the younger gen that it's difficult for them to achieve the same things in the same kind of timeline as older generation. (owning a house, getting a car, making a family etc.) so in hangsang, "now you are the crow-tits" is a flex that they have grown as a group and are now successful. hangsang hobipalooza version ruined the spotify version for me - cos everytime i listen to it on spotify i end up opening youtube cos the live one just goes so HARD!!!! hobi in jitb is a whole different jung hoseok. very raw and grittier

gagan

you're not even ready for the whole concert, like i immediately needed a live concert album the band was so incredible.

j

"They're not underrated, they're just overshadowed" - love your wise words Summer! xoxo

WenWen

They were not ready for this and it wasn't their fault lol. Did anyone explain the Supreme Boi part?

S0uL YgR

I knew you weren't ready and i was right, they have too many questions to actually enjoy the concert like we did, and this is an injustice to that incredible medley this was suppose to be a part of. oh well, not everybody understands how hard it is to connect songs at a concert, so sad but thanks for trying 💜

ceej

Hobi also takes this reference further into the song when he raps the line “using your seniority to harass others.” We’ve learned in the beginning that hierarchy is a big thing in Korea and some artists that have come before them have exploited their seniority as an excuse to belittle or treat BTS badly.

j

OMG - cannot wait till CCW finally view HOBIPALOOZA! x

Anonymous

its my bias week …… wish u get the opportunity to watch the whole HOBIPALOOZA performance was so much fun like u guys will love it ,with the band was good💜💜💜💜💜💜

CJ

Crow tits are a type of bird with short legs. In Korean culture, it's also a slang for either normal/lower class people or younger generation. What they call as "try hard" generation. This link can explain it more - https://linguaholic.com/linguablog/the-meaning-of-crow-tit/ BTS did a song called, Baepsae (crow tits) which talks about it. It's one of Army's beloved songs and one of Amy's fave choreo (before Run BTS). There is also an explained video by Korean Content creators, DKDKTV about the cultural references in that song. BTS Baepsae Dance Practice: https://youtu.be/V1i_x2_TGE0 BTS Baepsae Live Performance: https://youtu.be/2PKLsshsuZo Baepsae Explained Video : https://youtu.be/RP4Qbh2rXFU

WenWen

they're too early on in their ARMY journey and I feel like people are rushing them to react to things they're not ready for. they don't know what they don't know. i hope we get to revisit this later on when they know more

ceej

Just wanna say I enjoyed your reaction and I’m thankful you reacted to this 🫶🏻 Don’t feel bad about how some comments point out you weren’t “ready” to react to the song. We all start somewhere. I’m sure this was kind of a teaser to spark your curiosity and enthusiasm to react to the concert or more of his stuff. When you do, I hope to also hear your thoughts and insights. 💜

Luv.OT13💎

I remember watching Hobi’s performance and being so surprise. Cause it wasn’t the Hobi we usually see. Actually his persona during this concert he called himself Jay instead of Jhope. Watching Hobi’s performance was something new and different for Jhope Would love to see your reaction to the full performance, only if you guys want too. Or maybe sometime in the future with you get to know BTS and there music more. And also solos albums/solo songs

ada

This was huge! You have to watch the rest of his concert. Hobi was amazing. 14.9 million online viewers and about 105,000 who were there to cheer on Hobi. It was wild. There’s a lot of BangtanTV behind the scenes including the documentary coming up 2/17 in the Disney channel! Best to know his journey being the first BTS member going solo- pretty incredible. Thank you! 💜

S0uL YgR

Omg!!! YESSSSSSSSSSS, that's exactly how I feel and what i said during the poll too. I'm glad I'm not alone 😩 they just don't get it's not the same for us as it is for new people, especially people who can't binge on BTS like we did

Joy

I’m glad you noticed the reference to crow-tit. You’ll see this again in a couple other BTS song. As someone mentioned already, they have a song all about the topic of crow-tit or baepse titled Baepsae or Silver spoon. Their dance to it is a combination of funny and “sexual” 😂. It’s another iconic dance practice song. Gotta see it.

JH

This is JHope - Sunshine with an Edge!! Jimin flew to support JHope as he was really stressed about Hobipalooza! Also – Gabriel – CONGRATS on the CHIEFs winning the Super Bowl!! I am sure you are riding on a high today! 😊

Althea-Gale Zarco

I was there! And still am, mentally. Hobi is a born star.

Infinite Ree

It was explained in the summary they read at the beginning of the video

Atutami

I wasn't expecting a reaction video today. What a great surprise! ☺️ J-Hope's musics are very diverse (both rapping & singing). Which I am sure you will slowly discover in your journey 😊 Anyways ... get better soon guys! Dont get sick please 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Shell Whitt

I agree on what has been said. It is a favorite of lots of ARMY. If you see the video that explains the song, that will help you understand.

J-Lee

Agree 💯 EGO, Just Dance, Hope World or Daydream would be a good start if for Hobi. Just like what they did for Jimin, Jin, RM, Tae and JK - like the basics for the members. But yup it's not their fault. It's charge to experience tho 😊💜 It's good also that we're getting CNS too! That's like a solid foundation of our Hobi. I am much excited for it, so thank you for that CCW 💜🙏

JH

Nice! They must be so happy! We were cheering for the Chiefs too!! Vikings fan here! :)

SNBangtan

j-hope's concert can run like a BTS one because he's an incredibly versatile artist in his own right. You'll see. The flow of the concert was so well thought out, the pacing was great. He's known as not just the best performer in the group but the best in the k-industry and one of the best in the world. This was a small snippet where he sang half a song that has a swaggy vibe. The concert starts with boom bap/grunge rock stuff, then goes into the swaggy stuff, then more r&b boppy stuff, then hip hop ballads, then some dancy funky stuff. It's got so much range and he fits every style so well. You haven't gotten to dig into him but you'll see--he's full of surprises. He comes onto every track differently and his own music constantly surprises and challenges fans while also being so on brand.

Not To Sound Rude Or Anything But Their Reactions To The Members Don't Have To Always Be Chronological, I'm Betting Most Armies Didn't React To Them In Order.. We Just Watched/Listened To What We Thought We'd Like Or Whatever Was Newest Before Going Onto Earlier Stuff.. That Was My Experience Anyways. I Don't Think It's That's Big Of A Deal, It's Their BTS Journey.. We're Just Here To Help Them Slightly And Just Be There To Enjoy Them Discovering BTS. Plus Now That They've Seen A Portion Of The Concert I'm Sure They'd Be More Inclined To React To The Whole Thing, Maybe Not Right Now Cause They're Already So Busy As It Is But Sometime in The Future c:

hobi's kobi

loved the reaction!

WenWen

I think it's still great that they do real first time reactions and aren't fake. I'm sure we'll get there with all the music. And YES! So excited for CNS!

Cowplant

Great reaction CCW!

Ahjusshi_Brown

Hobi was never an underground rapper, he learned to rap after becoming a trainee by practicing with RM, Suga, and the other trainees. At the time he became a trainee, BTS was still intended to be a hip hop group so all the trainees could rap, and Hobi was the only one who couldn’t. He was an underground dancer before BTS tho (and by underground I just mean he did the street dancing genres, which wouldn’t have turned into much of a profession in Korea, at the time).

Anonymous

You should watch Ugh or Cypher part 3 from the Busan concert, it was so hard! Saw it in the movie theater and everyone was vibing like crazy.

Ahjusshi_Brown

When J-hope is on stage, we call him Jay bc he takes on a whole different level of charisma and stage presence when he’s up there (ARMYs often say that j-hope is all of our concert bias bc of the way he commands the stage). Everywhere else he’s Hobi bc he’s his usual sunshine self ☺️

EB

There is no one right way to be Army and discover BTS and their content. I think it’s unfair to say that they “weren’t ready” for this as if there’s a checklist somewhere with required prerequisite content to view and a quiz to make sure they’ve connected certain concepts. When I first discovered BTS I watched anything and everything I could get my hands on and gradually pieced things together as I went along. If I got confused I looked things up. If they have questions they can ask. Will this particular song have more meaning after they’ve consumed other content? Does it have more impact when watched as part of the full set list? Yes and yes, but they have very clearly said multiple times that they have a set schedule that they are comfortable with, and this performance won the poll. Attempting to police what and when things are watched is just not it. As some others have said, the Jack in the Box documentary will be coming out on Disney+ on Feb 17th and I am so excited! I love seeing the behind the scenes content from the guys, and it seems like this is going to go pretty in depth showing Hobi’s process of creating the album and the promotions. He was very hands on with how he wanted the album marketed and the types of promo he wanted to do. The behind the scenes stuff lately has really been showing how confident they all are in voicing their opinions on what works and how to make both their performances and their recorded content even better. I totally respect the no swearing approach to the YT channel, but I am curious what that will look like down the road? Most of their title tracks don’t contain much/any swearing, but the rapline’s solo work, especially Namjoon’s and Yoongi’s, contain a decent amount. Will it matter if it is in English or Korean? Just curious! :)

WenWen

Yeah I think it's still great that we are getting an unfiltered first time reaction but it's more advanced than other content. I feel the same way when new reactors react to compilations where they don't know the context or inside jokes and so it didn't impact them as much. Either way, I'm excited to see CCW's journey and hear what they think. It's going to be so fun watching them put the pieces together!

S0uL YgR

Those of us that stumbled upon them on our own and had no one else for guidance? Yea that is most likely the case. But if you have someone that can advice you otherwise, then it makes a world of difference. Also, they don't always have time to be going over the videos they watched. If you go in order you can see even more details than you would have missed, like the Baepsae reference which to me is very important. There's a lot of details that go into these things that sadly get overlooked because they are being rushed, and that's what I mostly have a problem with, where's the fire? 🤷🏻‍♀️

shel

OMG I was there for this I'm literally getting so hyped up I'm shaking just listening to it again😂 the crowd was absolutely insane... for the sake of being able to hear Jay (when he is long-haired that's his name🥵😂) I totally understand turning him up and the crowd down but I do want to make sure you know that almost all of his songs are Korean or majority Korean and the entire crowd sang every single word of them!!! It was mind-blowing!! For a little bit in here you can here the crowd pretty clearly and that's what it was like the entire hour long😅

shel

omg me too!! I occasionally just sit in a corner and pretend like I'll be there forever 😂 it was beautiful and amazing!!

Laura

You guys need to watch it in full lol. I love this song, but when it follows "baseline" etc it kills. There is a very set list that makes the whole concert perfect.

shel

also at one point when he it talking about BTS and his bros/dawg he points up to the side where Jimin was sitting🥺💜

Anonymous

hangsang!! :) - i “bias” all of bts but hobi has always been really special to me. he’s an incredibly talented person with so much passion, love, & of course, hope. i was able to attend lollapalooza this last summer, (almost strictly for hobi 🤭) & i had the most fun ever. it felt like i was at a bts concert but only with the sunshine of the group. he did an outstanding job. the heat & huge crowds all day were so worth it by the end of the night. i’m glad you guys could see more of hobis charm & i look forward to more reaction videos for all the members!! :)

Amber

They picked from the poll of songs. The issue I think is that they are only finding out these things through reactions. To fully understand BTS you have to research and watch content on your own. And from their comments you can tell they aren’t doing that. Which is also making it more difficult for them to understand as well.

el

I think this is a little complex, there are some lyrics in Hansang, specifically referring to that verse where hobi says "bts rockbottom" that has lot of impact and backstory, I understand you are not able to grasp everything, and its 100% okay. Apart from that, I think the main thing is that as far as I know, you are not very immersed in hip hop so it's probably uhm just different for you and that makes it a little hard cause bts is essentially hip hop, but anyway I appreciate the effort and I know even tho you may not have as much insight in that, you have way more insight in other topics that i or other viewers have no idea about. Probably is better if (obviously when u have the time and later on) watch the full concert and I can't wait to rewatch it with you ! thank you!

Razle Herman

Hobi kept the same energy from start to finish of his 1 hr set. You all have to watch the entire concert to appreciate this masterpiece. A documentary abt his jack in the box album and lollapalooza will be shown on disney plus this week.

Anonymous

I See Where You're Coming From And I Agree But That Also Doesn't Mean We Put Them On A Strict Path To Follow, For Example When They Had The Poll For Their Suggestions.. Not Everyone Was Being Nice About That Poll And Its Not Fair To Them If They Don't Have Some Say In What They Wanna React To.. They Could Just As Well Stop The Polls And React To Whatever They Want But They're Not And They're Asking For Our Opinions.. I Don't See Why Everyone Has To Criticise Every Single Thing They Put Out. I Know A Lot Of People Want Them To Go In A Specific Order But I Feel All This Is Just Going To Overwhelm Them.

Maya001

This was amazinggg btw I hope u eventually hear the tracks u watch the live’s studio version. They sometimes change it up in the live version and they’re both 🔥🔥🔥 About the no swearing thing, I gotta warn y’all BTS swear a lotttt in solo projects and concerts. (Especially rapline) Majority of Agust D (Suga’s alter ego) and RM’s songs have swears and even some BTS group songs like cyphers are packed ahhahaha Just a warning!! U may be surprised soon. You haven’t gotten into rap line much yet and there are some🔥🔥🔥 songs up ahead! Borahae💜💜💜

Anonymous

So, I got into BTS b/c of Jimin. I'm still Jimin biased, but when I went to my first BTS concert in 2018, I couldn't take my eyes off of Hobi. He is absolutely incredible on stage. Hobipalooza was the same thing but to the next level. I am absolutely obsessed with Jhope on stage. The way he puts music together, choreo, set design, and wardrobe, I don't think people understand how talented he is. The fact that Jihope are besties makes my heart sing. I hope you can watch the entire performance at Lollapalooza. The band was absolutely fantastic too! I BEG you to squeeze in Arson at Lollapalooza and I dare you not to get chills at the end.

Zephys

Love the reaction. Pleace ignore all the hate comment cause i can tell by watching, even if some stuff arnt 100%, clear you guys enjoy it and see a different side of our sunshine Hobi ^_^. Always love you guys reaction no matter what it is and i appreciate all the effort you guys do. please never change luv you all <3

S0uL YgR

If the hate comments are about my opinion about them not being ready than i find it funny. Like it's ok for people to think there's no order needed but if i say i think you are missing out on details because it is out of order then it is hate. It's like the song UGH, people just don't know what rage or hate means anymore because it is so commonly used. I hope I'm wrong and I'm not the hater 💜😮‍💨 i thought constructive criticism was constructive but clearly we don't all think alike

atin

First thing first, get well soon guys~ things aside, your health is our priority :) If I may answer some of your curiosity: - crow tit or "bapsae" is a small bird often associated with someone who works very hard to achieve something (in South Korea). Previously, BTS released a song titled "Bapsae" to describe the differences of the older generation and millennials in their country, and they referred to themselves as bapsae. There is an explanation video about this song by DKDTV on YT if you are interested. - Before vocal line joined, Hobi learned how to rap from RM and Suga because he is a street dancer, and as far as I know, he is still trying to broaden his musical spectrum. - The behind the scene of Hobipalooza is available on YT, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wmm_UJPf_Zo (it's really cool and we can definitely saw their professionalism, but Hobi really looks stressed out here) I totally agree with you all, the band crew was amazing! And so excited for Hobi's birthday week~

WenWen

I see where you're coming from and I don't think they should be on a strict specific order either! They are very short on time and are overwhelmed already. I just think some content are more advanced and require more context than others.

Yukari

This was an incredible concert! “Jay” did such an amazing job! The mayor of Chicago introduced him and she even tweeted her doing the Arson challenge! I’m really not into hip hop but it’s different when it’s our rapline because they say so much. JHope is a fantastic performer and a perfectionist. If you ever watch the behind the scenes you will see all his efforts. Now that I’m watching some of their old concert footages, I notice Suga and RM hyping him up by saying “Go J, Go J”…Eventually, you’ll get to deep dive into Hobi’s work and understand everything he’s about. I’m still discovering it myself. Thank you for celebrating Hobi!

S0uL YgR

Just one thing? Who's putting them in a strict path? Also like you said they ask for opinions, i thought that's what we were doing, giving OUR opinion. But now people want to create chaos by saying there's drama when everybody is just voicing their opinions. Like i don't get it, there's drama about one or the other because they don't agree with people that don't care about order or their favorites, like this is sad. People are pointing out people who are just giving their opinions. I give mine to have a conversation and see if you can see my point and not just dismiss it. Not to fight and saying there's haters. Just saying lol

fransi kaye

I am a 1-yr old Army. I understand the older Army have their ideas on how CCW should arrange things BUT those of us that started later just watched stuff as it pops up on YT and learn bit by bit in no particular order. These comments seem pretty crow-tits to me. PS. This comment is directed to this full conversation... not Sammi! ❤💜

Mayra

If I may recommend one I think you guys will really enjoy it was already in one of the polls it’s amazing Attack on Bangtan live in Japan you’ll love that and can also see their band

Anonymous

I'm Not Hating On Your Opinion, I Just Wanted To Give My Thoughts On What You Said.. I'm Sorry If It Came Off That Way. There's Not One Specific Person But To Me It Just Feels Like A Lot Of People Are Trying To Make Them Stay On A Strict Path.. It Might Not Actually Be That Way But That's How I Feel It Looks When I See A Lot Of These Comments.. I Know We Are But Some People Take Their Opinions Too Far And Hate On What's Been Suggested No Matter What It Is.. People Will Always Find Something To Complain About And That's Just Not Something CCW Needs To See.. I'm Not Saying This About You By The Way. I Wasn't Trying To Fight You Which Is Why I Started With Saying That I Didn't Wanna Sound Rude..

MinWii

It’s time for Bapsae!!! This will give you a glimpse of the rap line and their fierce and brilliant lyricism. You’ll learn the meaning of crow tit. Warning: you can’t just watch this song and read the lyrics and come away with an understanding. You need the explanation video (so well done by dkdtv) and you must see it live!!! Social commentary at its finest.

leat

army totally highjacked lollapalooza, they bought all tickets for Sunday witch rarely to sell out, but just a few hours after they announced j-hope to perform all tickets was gone only vip ticket left for 400 dollars i believe. i checked. my friend from Sweden travel to lollapalooza just to se j-hope perform it´s crazy. armys also bought the vip tickets and if you look closely at the rectangular building in the back nothing but army bombs.

Dani

Thank you thank you thank you 🙏

Desirae

I was there! It was crazyyyy! The amount of ARMY there and all of the energy was insane and the fanchants were so loud. Couldn’t be more proud of Hobi. He truly is a rockstar and was born to be a performer.

S0uL YgR

Sammi, I'm so lost with the comments i don't even know what's going on anymore. I wrote about the hate comments because someone else said to forget about the hate and i really don't think i see any hate expect "my hate" so I'm sorry if I wrote it in the wrong threat or idk what to call it here. I was trying to see your reply but couldn't find it for a while 🤦🏻‍♀️ this Patreon comment thing is no bueno, and i do understand we can support CCW but not everyone's opinion is an attack you know?

Miglena

YOU HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE WATCH HIS WHOLE STAGE - HIS ENERGY IS OUT OF THIS WORLD !!!!!

Sofie K.

Can't wait for you to watch the full performance! you could split it up in two videos: first half with the black outfit and then record the second half with the white outfit another day. That way you might have the time? But be warned: it's difficult to pause that's how good it is. so you might end up watching it all anyway :P :P It really has to be experienced as a whole. But also a good idea to watch a couple of songs from the concert alone, and then watch it in full later. Thanks for this reaction, it was great! :D

WATCH PTD ON STAGEEEE ON DISNEY PLUSSS

Anonymous

I Just Messaged You On Discord As I Too Am Having Trouble Navigating This Whole Comment Section..

Yahel Poveda

Hi! I’m new patreon from Panamá, and I really love your reactions! This concert was INCREDIBLE with 100,000+ people and for the firts time ARMY sold out the event that day, when the tickets sales on sundays are low. The organizers and the city's authorities didn’t stop admiring the impact that Hobi and ARMY had on the city. You definitely have to watch the complete show, ‘cause It will blow your minds.

ExqztMelinda

I was there! ARMY showed up in full force! The energy, HIS energy... I didn't stop jumping or screaming the whole time. It was awesome! I am still so proud of JHope when he popped out on that stage. The euphoria of witnessing something of that magnitude was epic. EPIC! I still cannot describe how I felt. When I say I lost my sh*t... it's still somewhere at that park. Lol. I was over by the tent you can see in the background there and saw them pull up screens on their computers for JHope's set and I almost lost it. Dunno if I was exhausted from being in one spot all day or if it was pure adrenaline after a long exhausting day. It was all worth it standing in the heat and sun for JHope. My sore arms from hitting the railing the whole time was worth it. I still cannot believe I was there to witness this! Will forever be engraved in my heart.

hobi's kobi

I think it's more so that Patreon commenters nitpick every single thing they put out and they're just trying to make everyone happy. You can feel like they weren't ready but it's not that serious. It's a song and they listened to it, who cares if it wasn't in order. This is the only channel where I have seen angry patrons because of a song order. Let them react, let them enjoy bts before they get overwhelmed! this is all for their enjoyment and ours to see them enjoy bts content, sometimes you guys have to relax and show a little more appreciation. And I mean this respectfully.

MinWii

Amazing!!! I’m crazy jealous but so happy for you😂😂 Now I’ll be watching the whole thing again after work. So flippin good!!!!!!💜💜💜

RL

I agree that everyone has a different way to get to know BTS, and there is not one correct way. But my opinion (and from comments I think that there are some more armys with the same thoughts) is that certain videos could be better watched after you have already gained some insight into BTS music and personalities.. :) That is just my opinion, but, of course, anyone is entitled to his own opinion! But I want to say - we are here to kinda help them navigate through BTS content, aren’t we? Most of us hadn’t anyone like that and we really just clicked to whatever (me including). But they have us. If the order is meaningless, then let’s leave them without our opinions at all. 😄 I feel this way especially about J-hope - I for sure know that I hadn’t enjoyed Lollapallooza even half as much if I hadn’t known Hobi’s personality, his earlier stuff and his new album. But not everyone’s the same, and it’s okay. Anyways - thank you CCW for reaction, as always!

RL

In different words - I just think we, patreons, should keep in mind where CCW are at their journey when voting in polls. :) That’s it! If you had shown me, for example, ‘Ugh’, ‘Baepsae’ in the next week after discovering BTS, I wouldn’t have liked it. I do love it now though! 😄

jam

i remember being so nervous for Hobi back then when he was announced to headline. He braved this solo concert. The members were so proud of him. I was watching from the Netherlands online and it was around 4am here at that time and I was in tears almost the entire concert. i was extremely proud of him and and i was so grateful for the ARMYs and esp Jimin who showed up for him. 😭😭😭 the vlive with Jimin after the concert is one of the best lives ever, i still cry every time i rewatch it. The guys have the most beautiful friendship and brotherhood. I love them so much and truly i'm in this bangtan shiz for life!!! 😭💜

Sunny Young

paid to watch it live . worth every penny. IMHO this was the weakest song in the show. on the MV you should watch MORE first and then ARSON. Of course those are ARMY Bombs, LOL. J hope sold more tickets than any other performer for the entire weekend, and sold out on Sunday which has never been done before , EVER for this festival. and yet not even a nod at the grammy's. a crow tit is a small bird that thinks it's a giant raptor, very loud and brave and runs away at first sign of trouble. It's a Korean insult, meaning all talk , no action.

RL

Btw, Daniel, thank you for guiding the others of CCW through our comments war and explaining everything so well! 😄 You summarized it brilliantly! Thank you for taking our thoughts in account while reacting! You’re truly the best reactors! ❤️

L

Please please take the time to watch the whole set. It is a must for you guys because the live music arrangement is insane. The band was put together by Music Director Asaf Rodeh who is the same one who also directed their YTC in Busan concert and invited back many of the same musicians from lollapalooza for the YTC concert as well. The band is extremely talented and I just know you'll love listening to them as musicians yourselves. Hobi's performance was incredible and also very diverse genres so you'll find more songs to your style amongst them that I think you'll enjoy even more. Thanks for the reaction!

Rae Avilez

"I'm J-Hope of BTS, but you can call me Jay!" This is one of my favorite memories from last year! I wanted to go so badly but I didn't have enough funds until my parents gave me the $$$ for airfare n hotel for my birthday! I never made travel plans so fast in my life!!! I was out on the field by 2pm ended up with a decent view of the stage. It was so freaking packed! He was utterly amazing and you guys really have to watch the whole concert! Gabriel and Daneil would love Baseline and CNS! Abby and Summer would like Future and Safe Zone! He even had a special guest!!! Please, please, please react to the whole thing! Like others have said, break it in two if you need shorter times. Our army bombs only sync during concerts because they are connect to wifi and we put in our location and seat information. Outdoor concerts not so much because you never know where you are going to end up. Barricade army had been in line since 6am and at the barricade since noon! I will never forget that experience ever. I can live in that moment whenever I feel down.

Bun_s_life

Great suggestion, I second this. However, there are a lot of spoiler song in that concert so I'm not sure if it can fit into your schedule.

Bun_s_life

Hi, guys. Nice reaction as always. We really appreciate that you find time to watch all our suggestions and pool winners/2nd places, I know it's probably hard to do sometimes. 🙏💜 I wanted to answer a few of your questions/guesses. 1. Crow-tit (kor. baepsae) - is a species of a bird. You can google it, it's very cute 💜 but the main point is that it's very small and has a short legs. In South Korea it is often used a metaphor of someone who works hard to achieve something that seems to be out of his range (a try-hard). The opposite of that could be someone who has long legs - it takes him less effort to achieve the same thing/walk the same distance when compared to the short-legged crow-tit. BTS has used this metaphor many times to for example describe the differences between older and younger generations. They have a song that's called "Baepsae" ("Crow-tit"/"Try-hard"/"Silver Spoon"; it has many aliases lol). It's insanely good, one of ARMY's favourites. You de9finitely have to react to it so0meday together with the dance practice video [an iconic one among ARMYs] and an explanation video. However, this song is a B-side (not a title song) so it may take you a while to get there. :P 2. Even though J-Hope is still the same person that is just showing us different sides of himself we call him different names to distinguish his attitude/point of career/a side of him/etc. So: ^ Hobi is our/BTS' ball of sunshine (hence Hobipalooza) ^ J-Hope is a member of BTS, a rapper/singer/dancer ^ Hoseok is him when he's in a serious mode or a dancer/dance leader ^ and this Hobi you've just witness right there at Lolapalooza... we call him J... 3. J-Hope was not a part of underground hip-hop scene (so Daniel was right there, sorry Summer :P). From underground were RM and SUGA. J-Hope has learned rapping during the time he was a trainee at Big Hit (RM, SUGA, his teachers and other trainees have helped him with that) and he became better as their career was developing. He was originally a street dancer (and he was a part of a dance crew).

brad pitt

Correct, and in the end everything will line up when they’re all finished. It’s normal for some confusion while trying to learn something new! I think they’re doing great on their journey. Let them enjoy the content without being told what they should and shouldn’t do.

WenWen

that's an amazing birthday gift!! so glad you got to experience this!

brad pitt

Thank you for another amazing reaction 🤍🤍🤍 ccw never fails to make my day a little brighter. I hope y’all feel better soon

Lulu K

The band at Hobipalooza was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! The arrangements and fill really added so much to each song and the concert overall. Hobi put so much effort into prep for this concert and it really showed. I was floored watching this at 4am in Germany, had to take a leave day cos I just couldn't do anything but rewatch the concert all day.

Camille

Omg the energy there was insane. I feel like a lot of others not in the know were wondering why there was a 'kpop' headliner that weekend, but his appeal was sooo undeniable, lots of locals had so much fun too! I was there with my mom & sister ^^ Highly suggest to react to the whole set and also the MVs for More and Arson~

PM

Another great reaction! Thank you for powering through and filming even though you weren't feeling well! Y'all are amazing! Oh, and nice shirt Gabriel! 😄

Danielle Carr

Hobi was afraid no one would show up, no only did they show up but Fans broke the attendance record. It was over 100,00 people.

IDEA Girl

Crow-tit is a real bird. BTS does a whole song about that bird and the Korean culture surrounding that bird. There are many kinds of "Tit" birds. This version of Jhope starts out with his MV of "More" then "Arson" from his "Jack in the Box" album. This version of J-Hope is the opposite of Mr. Sunshine in many ways, but still the real genuine supremely talented J-Hope that was never revealed in his BTS persona. In my opinion...and it's controversial to say this...but I feel J-Hope and his talent were overlooked. He is now Finally being recognized as a real breakout star. He is making collabs, interviews, concerts, award show, NY solo New Year Eve's appearances everywhere!! Accepting an award as the Most Favorite. More and more recognition than ever. And he is so deserving of it. His potential is still untapped. His next solo concert he wants to do is a dance concert. Watch out!! His Lollapalooza concert I've watched over 10 times. Each time observing a new brilliance that shines and shines like a diamond. I knew he was that talented. And he knew he was that talented. But he humbly and forever is devoted to his brothers of BTS. They have a beautiful relationship. Just wait til 2025. After they've all been transformed into Korean adult loyal soldiers then advancing and molting into a new meld of BTS. RM is right. "The Best Is Yet to Come" for BTS and our beloved Hobi. A side note. You always want to know about their true personalities. And they always do speak the truth about themselves in interviews. This is rarely shown in any video...the person with the worst temper...going from 1 to 100 the fastest...J-Hope. 2nd place. Jimin. Not kidding.

Chanelle

Thank you for your reaction- glad you enjoyed it! I will say that this song performance may not have been the right one to jump into first with Hobi's solo work, which may be why you were taken a bit back by his darker persona and the lyrics of the song—for example, "crow-tits" is a reference for a bird with short legs that is a large part of BTS' song "Baepsae" and it's again referenced in other BTS songs like "Not Today." If you had heard those first, that line would have made a bit more sense to you. Nevertheless, I'm really glad you checked out this song and his performance, and I can't wait to see you all learn more about Hobi, the rest of the members, and BTS' music as well. :)

IDEA Girl

"Baepsae" Their song about Crow Tits. https://youtu.be/RP4Qbh2rXFU At this site is the song explanation of the cultural meaning of the song. Enjoy. Something new to learn about the Korean culture.

Anonymous

definitely would love for you guys to react to the whole concert, hear some of his other music and how versatile he is

IDEA Girl

Two things for Summer. 1. I will say it nicely. NOT A HATER. You are wrong. Hobi was NOT a rapper. Not part of the underground. Hobi was the hip hop dancer. He learned rapping being mentored by Suga and RM. 2. Allergies. I tried every medicine. They didnt work. Someone finally informed me. You need Claratin-D. You require the secret magic healing D. But it's expensive. You must But it Over the Counter because it's a drug. You have to show your driver's license to track you so you only buy it once a month. The secret trick. Ask for the generic. Way cheaper. I get mine at Walmart. Even cheaper at Sam's. They come in 12 hour or 24 hour. They do not give you a months worth, 30. 24 Hour they give you 10. So I take them in between my Loratadine allergy days. I promise the sneezing and most symptoms will be gone. Dry mouth sometimes. Nothing that Sweet Tea can't fix. So try it. Get well. Thank you for your delightful reactions. Reminder. I suffer up here in IL. There is no Blue Bell up here in Chicago. So jealous. My fav Moo-llinneum Crunch!

Charlotte Simm

Fun fact jimin was actual there supporting him it was so cute!

Rasha

Thanks for the reaction guys, hope you are feeling better. Take care of your health

BoraBot0613

Omg!! Hobipalooza was out of this world. A few friends and I traveled to Chicago to show our support. The energy was next level. I hope you get to watch the concert in full and not chopped up in sections. You truly get to see Hobi in his element that way and get an understanding of how much he put into this. There is also a documentary coming out in Friday 2/17 on Disney+ and Weverse showcasing his journey into creating his first solo album JACK IN THE BOX. Hope you all can watch

j

I was brought up in England & we hv birds called “Blue Tit” :D

Andredayyy

You guys should watch the concert it's his solo stuff it wouldn't spoil anything after you watch chicken noodle soup lol

j

My fav was “ARSON” with army chanting “BURN, BURN, BURN….” x

j

“Hangsang” more for senior army I think. CCW just baby army now :D

jjsons

i flew to chicago from la for hobipalooza and it was genuinely one of the best days of my entire life

Tanya perez

Remember the BTS bio video said Jhope was a hip hop dancer and didn't rap but Big Hit saw a rapper in him and he practiced with Rm and Suga in their dorms. Maybe re watching the Taylor and Rice videos will get you refreshed on some of their history because I notice sometimes you guys get some facts wrong but it's natural I did the same on my beginning journey of the guys too. Yes, react to the whole concert! Jhope killed it! He showed true superstar talent and the audience was so hyped and showed so much love to him and sang every word from the songs he performed from his his Hope World mix tape and his EPIC Jack In The Box LP😊💜

Domino-ssi

Please react to the entire concert from beginning to end rather than doing single songs out of order. He chose the order of songs very carefully to build a trajectory of the feelings he wanted to convey. I think it does it a disservice to break it up. Perhaps if your concern is having your video that goes an hour you could do it in two halves?

j

Fun fact CCW - our sunshine sold the most tickets in lolapalooza history. 100k tickets on a Sunday never been achieved before since most festival goers buy tickets for fri/sat! Our hobi also surprised kpop haters at lolapalooza with his magnificent set list. This is why army love hobipalooza (14.9 million army livestream in real time to our “J”!) x :D

Domino-ssi

Interesting detail: Hobi headlined Lollapalooza on the last day, a Sunday, which is usually the least attended day of the festival. That day was the first time in Lollapalooza’s 34-year history that it was sold out. It is remarkable that his performance was so spectacular when it was his first ever solo performance. He really hit it out of the park.

Ali

Agreed! Don’t get me wrong the vocal line is amazing, but there’s a reason BTS’ rap line has spent YEARS being considered one of the best in KPop. I’m excited for when CCW spend time on more of the original 3’s work. They’ve been in the business together longer than the others and you can see it in the rap performances especially. You also start to see just how massively involved the rap line is in BTS’ writing and production. The maturity, mastery, individuality, and chemistry RM, SUGA, and J-hope have blows my mind with every new performance and I’ve been ARMY for almost 9 years now.

ali yana

Yes please watch the whole concert when you are able to whether in Patreon or on your own. Hobi is really underrated. Ever since he started doing his solo work, he shone even more and I'm here for it!

Gloria Cleveland

Dear Army - I've read a few comments here and it's been a little disappointing because there have been a few unkind things said or that sound a bit demanding about what CCW should do. These folks are all PARENTS & probably have JOBS so I think everyone should be very grateful for whatever time they spend reacting. Please be kind in all your comments because that's what Army does & that's what BTS would want. Borahae.

tannie misser

Ok, a few things: (sorry in advance, it's gonna be long) 1. I've seen a few people in the comments explain what a crow-tit is so i'm not gonna repeat them, however i'd like to suggest watching an explanation video of the song by DKDKTV on youtube and/or reading the lyrics from https://doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/ when you do eventually react to the song! 2. The band for hobipalooza is INSANE, i know you guys are gonna love it! I really hope you guys react to it in one or two parts instead of small snippets to fully appreciate the experience, even if that might delay your reaction to it. That being said, i'd also like to say that although there really isn't a right or wrong order to react to things i think it's still important to point out that the studio versions of the performed songs sound *VERY* different from the live versions, which is why i think reacting to hobi's discography in chronological order would make you appreciate the concert more, but since that includes a lot of songs (and other videos) i do also get that you might want to skip ahead straight to the concert. It's really up to you and what kind of experience you wanna have! 3. Also fun fact about hobipalooza; hobi was noted as the highest ticket-selling artist in all of lollapalooza history despite being the closing act of the final festival day, which has famously been the worst selling day for 30 years. And not only that but he also had a crowd of over 100K people, had more that 14.9M real time viewers on weverse and god knows how many more on hulu. He really made history that night! Thank you for your reaction as always! I'm looking forward to your hobi week reactions!

Anonymous

I really hope you guys will watch the whole concert, it really shows all of hobi’s artistic talents, and its just so iconic!

J. Lao

Your observation is so accurate. Each member is unique in their own way and has their own type of music and artistry. They each are great artists individually. But they jive so well together, they complement each other's strengths and they are amazing.

Lenny Merlenna

I've seen everyone giving you the heads up about what Crow-Tit is.. now let me ride the bandwagon and add how awesome that song 'Baepsae' in Korean is.. while it's such a hyped and up beat song, the meaning behind the song is deep. Plus, the live performance, well, consider all ARMY to have our jaw drop every single time they do 'that' move... won't spoil it for you guys but once you see it, you know what we mean.. So, when you eventually react to Baepsae, you'll get all the rave ARMY has been talking abt. ARMY just go nuts during this song's live performance. As for this concert, besides, Hangsang, the other one that the band stood out a lot was Baseline. OH MY GOD! Literally, the music in the background just spice it up for J-Hope's performance. Baseline brings you to another level. Hope to see you react to it someday.

Anonymous

I hope you can react also to his MAMA 2022 performance for More and Arson. Here's the link by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZyVl-a8hXk

CDragon21

Jimin flew from Korea to Chicago to support JHope because he was having a hard time with nerves and stress. He wasn't sleeping or eating well. There is a really cute live stream that they did together right after the concert, and JHope said that Jimin was his light and he was only able to relax once Jimin was there with him. (Backstory, Jimin and JHope were the longest to room together. They all shared one room, then it was Jimin, JHope and V together, then Jimin and JHope and Jungkook was in a closet attached to their room, and then - even when there were enough rooms that they could each have their own - Jimin and JHope shared a room. It wasn't until they all had their own homes that Jimin and JHope stopped rooming together. They are very close and very sweet together. You can see that they are emotional support for each other, they are both such caring individuals. When Jimin went to Paris last month to be at Dior's fashion show, Jimin was nervous so JHope joined him even though JHope is representing Louis Vuitton. They have such a precious friendship.)

Seriously BangTan

I know you guys are very busy with your job and kids but I hope you guys react to the entire lollapalooza set I think like the reaction feels incomplete since you only did one song from the entire set. You guys are gonna be able to see the versatility that hobi has well every member is like that. Plus His documentary is gonna come out this Friday so Im sure you guys will try to react to that one and is actually about his journey on making his debut album Jack in the box, practicing for lollapalooza and then actually getting there. So I believe is actually needed so you sort of go into the documentary knowing the songs. Im sorry if I rambled on a lot, but his lollapalooza has a very special place in my heart I have watched it so many times and each time I cried because of how proud I am like he did all of that.

Ali

Great reaction as always guys! Please get some rest and take care of yourselves. I figured this might be a little bit of a shift because you’ve been primarily reacting to title tracks and vocal line stuff. Yes, JitB showed a new side of J-Hope and was very different from his prior mixtape, but from their debut, the rapline of BTS has produced very intense rap songs-the Cypher series and UGH- so it’s not really a “new” unheard of sound from J-Hope. And the song you reacted to is actually from his first mixtape, so…. Right now you aren’t really reacting to that so your missing a large part of their early sound and style. Don’t get discouraged though, eventually you’ll get there and in my experience this is similar to how a lot of newer ARMYs experience BTS (especially those who became fans during the English song trifecta). It’s ironic that for a lot of us “veterans” the more ballad heavy, less intense hip-hop style was the shocking shift 😂. I remember when HYYH (Most Beautiful Moment Pt 1) released and the MV for the lead single I NEED U started and I thought I’d clicked the wrong video at first because it looked so different from everything prior. (Then Dope MV came out and I was like, “Oh, there you guys are!” Lol!)

Never gets old re watching jhope perform in Lollapalooza. I know most people refer to it as concert but it is actually a music festival, sort of Like Coachella. I was able to attend since Im only over an hour drive from Chicago. The music festival starts 11a. and last act performs around 9pm. There are actually 4 stages set up each and diffrent artist performs on each stage. I believe the other main act that night opposite Jhope was Green Day. Hobi was supposd to start at 9PM but they moved him 15 minutes earlier making his performance around 70 mins.

Anonymous

Im not really into these type of crowd but Hobi made me do it. Was there 9am waiting for the gates to open and ran to their stage where he was gonna perform. Stood for almost 14 hrs straight without a bathroom break. (Damn worth it though!) I was lucky to be near the stage area since staff in the front were passing water. I've never been to a BTS concert, but having attended this, makes me really look forward what it's like. Crazy energy and took me almost a week to get over it.

Anonymous

Hopefully one day you get to react to his entire Hobipalooza. It would be more meaningful if you get to listen to hus Hopeworld Mixtape and Jack in the Box album beforehand.

Tay Tay

Love that Chiefs gear!!!!! Currently living in KC and super excited for our parade on Wednesday!

Tay Tay

Please watch the whole set! It was an hour but sooo good omg!

KiMinYoongi

Because of their own musical background, I think they would really enjoy the behind the scenes. I swear I could not take my eyes off of Hobi during it. He was so amazing and worked so hard. All I could think was how lucky we are to have him as ours.

brad pitt

They said they would. They only have so much time. They’re parents and they have full time jobs. They’re doing as much as they can

Dae

Agree with Summer and Abi's observations! J-hope's ability to channel different personas that the stage/song calls for is proof of how good of an artist he is. The dark, grungy concept may seem very different from what we know of him but indeed, you can still see how very "j-hope" the performance is at its core. I don't agree with what some people are implying that this is j-hope's true self waiting to be let out, hiding behind that smiley and bright concept. Cos I think all of that is j-hope. He is a multi-faceted artist capable of expressing himself in whatever way he deems fit for a certain body of work. Be it a dark or bubbly persona, it all adds up to the totality of j-hope. Enjoyed this reaction a lot! Looking forward to the rest of Hobi's birthday week 💜

Carole

Loved your reactions!!! ♥️ I always get excited when I see you have posted a new video ☺️ No one I know likes kpop so watching reactions are the only way I see people who share the love I have of BTS!!! 🥰

Crystal Petra

Love watching your reactions! After reading some comments on this post and the last couple, just want to say that I enjoy anything you guys react to, and I love learning about BTS with you. I am very new to BTS as well, so I’m learning along with you. Not everything needs to be in a certain order, and if sometimes you can’t fully appreciate something, it’s okay to watch it anyway and go back to it later. There’s so much information and content, and everyone has a different opinion on how to consume it. You guys are doing a great job, and there are only so many hours in the day ❤️

Anonymous

It would be really nice to see the Hobipalooza full because it was fun. I watched it 3x before and I was never bored and I still can’t get enough.

Anonymous

The behind the scenes of Lollapalooza would also be really cool for you guys to watch. You’d see how hands-on J-hope is even with the band, set design etc

kookietaetan

Even though the word crow tit has a fixed meaning, its usage, particularly within Korean culture, has changed and evolved over time. Originally, crow tit referred to a small, puffy bird; however, after being used in a Korean proverb, ‘뱁새가 황새 따라가면 가랑이 찢어진다' or 'A crow tit will rip its crotch trying to walk like a stork, the term crow tit came to refer to someone who is trying too hard to fit in by becoming something they aren’t. Using this latter meaning, BTS released a song where they called themselves baepsae, which is the Korean name for a crow tit. The song delves into some of South Korea’s social issues and explores how different generations view each other. It is a great song you should listen to it, the dance practice is fun too. I have seen Hobipalloza several times and after seeing this I want to go watch it again, you won’t believe how quick time goes by when watching it, this was a huge achievement for Hobi, also Hobi has said that he wanted to portray a different side from the “Sunshine” persona he has in BTS, so JITB is his darker side, which no matter what Hobi will always be our Sunshine

Anonymous

Suga talked about using fruity loops in one of their interviews!

Helen (Rockermom) Varga

j-hope was phenomenal at Lollapalooza. Think about the fact that he's performed with BTS's six other members for almost 10 years. It was impressive to see his command of the stage as a solo artist. Y'all will love the entire show. 💜

Katya Chan

crow-tits in here is a reference to their song "baepsae", meaning how the tables had turned now.

This is one of the songs/ performances showcasing Jhope's dark flavor, not the bright ball of sunshine we expect him to be. In fact, his solo album showacases that. It is a more mature Jhope alongside his jouney of taking his music to the next level l 🖤. Love your reactions, btw 💜

This outfit too was soooooo good; he’s a spokesmodel for Louis Vuitton and they dressed him in this awesome grungy holey black look with the 90s baggy and then the more bright colourful accessories with the white boiler suit look for the more optimistic second half of the concert. He introduced himself as j-hope of BTS “but you can call me Jay” at the beginning and we now know who Jay is: an absolute badass who I can’t wait to see more of!

Rachel Lynn

I was at hobipalooza and it was so fun. J-Hope becomes everyone's bias or bias wrecker when you see him live

Dalmi Rojas

That's not J-HOPE, that's JAY. Welcome to the alter egos.

jordyn perry

Hobipalooza wad the highlight of 2022 for me. Such an amazing experience! He did perform a variety of song w a variety of vibes.

Ness

Like some of my other Primos I’m just going through some of these comments. They are ridiculous and feel it is unnecessary. If you look at their Community Posts you can see that they have a game plan. This was a POLL winner. DON”T BE SO HARSH. I rarely comment on things. WHY because some Armies can be out right UNBELIEVABLE!! They have lives, jobs and children and are very humble and loving people. DO NOT make them regret this wonderful journey that they are going on. I’m mean really. That’s why some reactors worry about reacting to BTS always saying “ ARMY DON”T COME AFTER ME”. Geeezzz. For me during this time I thought I was going to be alone and having to look at BTS videos and shows by myself. Once CCW came alone it was so lovely it was like I have 4 friends that I can watch content with. STOP!!!!l Let’s all just enjoy PLEASE 💜💜

earlene torres

So happy my bias King 🤴🏼 is being spotlighted for his birthday week. Hobipalooza was and always will be my most memorable summer! He was the headliner and outsold the concert in the festival's 20+ years history - he broke the record! Just like Suga is AgustD on solo, JHope is "JAAAAY" (he introduced himself that way at this event) when he came out of the box for his official "Jack In the Box" solo album. He's the real deal with the full package👏💜❣️🃏 🥞🎂

Maëva

This was just a little taste maybe a bit out of context for you to really understand, but can't wait for you to know more about each member, put the pieces together and hopefully one day enjoy the full concert because it was major! The arrangements, the pace had lots of dynamics, range and Hobi is truly one of the best performer I ever saw!! BTS is truly a long but fascinating journey, you still just cratched the surface but really take your time with it, you'regetting there!! Hope you continue enjoying it💜💜 Thanks for the reaction

Rafaa Z

Now I’m more excited to see you guys react to the rest of the concert

Hobipallooza was epic! You wont regret watching the entire concert at once. Jhope was so versatile, a true artist. 💜

Hobipalloza is a must! You guys could watch "jhope in the box" at disney + or the behind the scenes of lollapaloza at youtube. Another intersting thing to watch is the live jhope and jimin did right after the concert it is 20 min long and has subtitles. You may find it on weverse or youtube. It is so enduring the see jimin and hobi's friendship s2. Love you all

hahahaha the "crow t** is a teeeeerible translation, which makes absolutely no sense either. the Korean word Hobi said for that translation is BAP-SAE (baep-sae, that's right! the same word from Silver Spoon!), and "bapsae" is a type of a small bird in Korea. Hobi's calling his haters "bapsae"= small bird. TThere's an old Korean saying which means a bapsae (small bird) tries to chase/run after a hwang-sae (=tall bird with long legs) then it splits its legs. bascially a bapsae can't keep up with a hwantsae. BTS uses this old saying as refererence for Silver Spoon as well. BUT in Silver Spoon, BTS is bapsae, and BTS sings basically, thanks to you hwangsae, you previliged people, our legs got strrrrrrrong. Genius.
