I think bts talked about this performance in their new book. they where actually tricked into performing. the rapper from the other team challenged him into a duel and said he should show up with his reply. so they went. but they thought by being invited that they where also nominated for an award but it turned out to be false. so they where being set up. but this performance also put BTS in the spotlight and they surprised everyone so it wasn´t for nothing. please correct me if i am wrong could be another show i was thinking of

Whether we remember or not it’s still shocking to see it, especially after it’s been a while. And yes of course we do forget some things, since we’re so behind we can’t let many videos “simmer” as we move on so quickly. I go back and rewatch a lot but can’t rewatch everything

I think it has a different kind of charm watching these early bts performances when you army for some time. Some might call it cringey but watching it now that you are so attached to them and all their positive impact makes everyone appreciate this early phase better . They were trying to find their style and their place in the world. And im thankfull for all their perseverance endurance and for everything they had to put up with to find their voice and be the bts that we all admire today. Thanks for this throwback. It's one of my favorite MAMA's, precisely because I'm crazy about the dark & wild album. Jimin's tattoo was actually fake, but in 2018 he made it permanent (it says “Nevermind”). The battle was more to introduce the groups and BTS did very well, since at that time the awards didn't give them any visibility. The dance battle is iconic and still remembered today, Hobi and Jimin were much better, I'm not saying that because I'm an army, but it's totally incomparable (not to mention Jimin tearing his shirt, that was the perfect icing on the cake). Now about the rap “battle”, Zico and Namjoon are friends, the disses weren't for each other. By the way, interesting trivia, RM's rap was a diss to a guy called Bobby from the group iKON (this guy made a gratuitous diss about RM and BTS, RM didn't miss the chance to respond to the point of shutting the guy up and keeping him quiet), and it's all true, in their book there's information about what happened and Namjoon has already spoken about it, even backstage at this MAMA Bobby went to greet and congratulate RM.

idk if they've been tricked into performing, the rapper, Zico, and RM had been friends for a good minute before the event, RM even showed him the lyrics he wrote in advance, and he was actually responding to another rapper, Bobby, that had been dissing him in previous events (nothing super serious but enough that rm felt the need to answer). There were a "set up" tho, in that neither of the groups knew it was gonna be a "battle" format, and the VS took everyone by surprise. I don't know anything about the award nomination though (EDIT: just saw Melissa answered faster!)

I remember first seeing a clip of Jimin’s whole shirt rip when I was a baby army and I was like “yeahhh…hes my bias” LOL Though I will say, I’m so super glad he doesn’t feel pressured to do this anymore I love how truly himself he is now 💜 Also, if you want to see them react to their early selves, there’s a few videos out there But my fav is when they react to their red bullet tour. The camera director drove me nuts because every time RM, Suga and j-hope were rapping during the BEP cover, they zoomed out and didn't show them. Disappointed but not surprised given how they were treated by the industry at large.

Nico from Block B started his own company called KOZ Entertainment which is now part of Hybe. Bang PD actually reached out to him and offered him to come to Hybe. The male group BoyNextDoor is under his label. They are doing pretty good, I think they just debuted about a year ago now.

As a black woman, you need to let go of that victim mentality you have. It's not that deep. If that's the case, you shouldn't be able to stand black women wearing weave because that is hair from Asians. It's okay for us to take things from them, but they can't wear braids. You do realize that braids are a part of many cultures, Native American, Asian, and Dutch. We don't own braids. Every time I watch this I’m reminded how RM and Zico (the leader of Block B, he was rapping versus RM) have been friends for years and we’re both underground rappers before becoming idols. Zico also endured the hip hop industry hating him for being an idol and when he began to focus more on being a rapper and a producer. RM and Zico even made songs together in pre-debut during their time underground. They’re actually on YouTube, with English translations, if anyone wants to check them out. Glad to see they both made it (Zico is an incredibly successful rapper/producer and his label is under HYBE where he has even created/debuted his own idol group) despite everything they went through.

When he recognized the part from TROB that it was at a specific epsiode of burn the stage ( i think ) i was so shook. But even if they dont remember its understandable. This is not a competition. People are not forced to remember the entire discography lyrics , or all the dance practises or the frame by frame cut of their content. Critisizing such unimportant details is a little extreme if not unrealistic.

Its just the way that you always mention something negative in the comments. Maybe you have no bad intention maybe its the way you phrase things maybe its the fact you make 3 or 4 different comments and all of them have something that is critisizing ccw. Of course you are entitled to your opinion. There are times when you write that ' of course i will get negative replies ...' but no one actually replies something negative. So it doesnt happen all the time and it happens when you write something that comes off as rude. You always have negative remarks to say ' why you dont remember' ' why you dont tell your followers to vote for bts at award shows ' , 'why you dont tell your followers to stream bts album ' , ' why you talk so much and miss this detail '. Things that sometimes have nothing to do with the video reaction or things that are so unimportant that you miss the whole point of the video (eg this particular video). Saying something rude and then ending it with " i know i will get negative replies" doesnt make someone sympathize you if your comment is actually rude. It doesnt make it ok to say whatever you want. Maybe try writing one comment and having something to say that is nicer. Then you would see all the positive replies from other army

Jimin worked very hard to get "Pumped" up and rippled. Unfortunately to get that way he starved himself and only ate once every 13 days. This is per info Jimin confessed later. He nearly killed himself literally. He promised never to do that again. But as many IDOLS succumb to this ...male and female...they are obsessed with maintaining a low weight. I I'm not a doctor, but in my opinion it's an eating disorder. JK confessed at the Permission to Dance concert.. .at the Vlive afterwards...he doesn't eat during concerts. He fasts. After the concerts are over he eats to his hearts content. The dieting still exists. Just recently RM had Jimin over to his apartment to review his new album. Jimin brings food over. But says a special thanks because he knows Jimin is on a diet. He's always on a diet even though he is the smallest guy with the lowest weight. I remember Jimin being on an interview show where he sang "Like Crazy". The host is a singer too. And he said to Jimin that he looked good. Jimin explained he was on a diet. Jimin in turn returned the compliment and told the host how good he looked. Then Jimin asked him what kind of diet was he on. The host said...I'm not on a diet. I've never been on a diet in my whole life. Jimin couldn't believe it. He had never heard of a performer Never being on a diet before. The one good thing about the military. No diets. They Have to eat to exist and get through physical training and continue being strong through enlistment. So for the first time in their lives...none of BTS is on a diet. In fact, Jin bragged he had gained 20 lbs. Up to 160. Usually he is only at 140. So skinny for his height. During the pandemic he got very depressed and got down to 120. He said he slept 12 hours a day. Then played video games for 12 hours. He said he forgot to eat. He went to Mr. Bang for advice. He told Jin to write a song about his feelings. That's when Jin wrote "Abyss."
