About the tattoos, Jungkook usually tapes or bandages them during live performances/live interviews (like when they're performing on shows that are specifically broadcasted on national television) and on pretty much any other content they're just blurred out by the broadcasters if it's being broadcasted on TV. That's why his tattoos are visible in some content and covered in others!

So the southern hemisphere is the opposite to the North/USA. So, you guys are about to go into Spring, whilst us in NZ or Australia are going into Fall/Autumn. So if the boys travelled in September the Southern Hemisphere was coming out of Winter into Spring, whilst you were going from Fall to Winter. Lil geography tea, New Zealand is made up of two islands, North & South. Auckland = North Island (Jin's stop) Christchurch = South Island (the rest of the members flew from Singapore straight to Christchurch)

In the southern hemisphere, like Australia and New Zealand, their summers are around December to February and they definitely call it summer, not winter. Winter is around June to September for them, and they would call it their winter months. As this was filmed in September (given JK and RM’s birthdays), it would be end of winter and early spring for New Zealand. Bon Voyage is usually filmed around August to September which is why it was summer when they were in Hawaii and Malta but winter/spring in New Zealand.

I was waiting for your reaction to Jin cleaning his eyes through his non existent lenses 😁Jin had lasik surgery in 2018 but even around this time of BV in 2019 he would still wear glasses often (less frequently now). I guess if you’ve always been used to wearing glasses it’s like a comfort accessory/wear. So excited to rewatch BV4 with everyone!

A lot of the members have other friends they hangout with, but V is very close with his cast members from the Kdrama he acted in. There’s a BTS In The Soop season with V and just his friends. Their relationship is very sweet.

My husband, my son (when he was 2 yrs old) and myself hired the exact same size RV when we toured NZ for 2 wks. There are many fantastic holidays parks to park your RV so you can cook/shower/have bathroom breaks in NZ. Also, we've flown Singapore biz class which is great but the best 1st class we've flown on is Emirates where we have our own individual "cabins" and you have your own private chef. Like a typical boy, instead of the lobster, caviar, fillet mignon which was on offer, my son asked the chef to cook him Korean spicy instant ramyun! xoxo

I went to college in the US, and i'm from Indonesia.. I had to go on an 18hr flight to LA and another 4hr to Wisc. Experienced the skipping a whole day thing everytime I went back home, and 2 times the same day when I went back to the US.. the jetlags was the worstt!

The ''early spring'' is referring to New Zealand's seasons, not the northern hemisphere's. This season was filmed in September, hence Jungkook and Namjoon got the cakes 😂

Daniel had already said he knew where they were going awhile ago..but it was funny watching him act like he didn't know. Also you guys should watch a video on the chaos at the airports when army knows they are comming or leaving. It's real scary sometimes so it's good they had a safe time at the airports..you should really know their bodyguards by now they are usually the same, plus their managers travel with them a lot too. So yes Summer Jin had people with him he was not alone.

I'm pretty sure that his tattoos leaked out to the public while they were filming this and some ARMYs were very critical of him. You can see his whole demeanor change and he apologizes at the end when they're doing the interviews. It broke my heart. I don't understand why some people in the fandom are so critical of them, especially JK.

Actually, before this episode 1 there’s another episode the (0) which the staff filmed them and revealed to them where are they heading for BV4. There this one interview and the staff asked them where they want to go and one or two of the boys said they want to visit NZ. this is my favourite BV of all and i wantched this always if i feel sad and miss the boys coz this is the 1st BV that i wantched.. hehehe and mostly of the place that they went i went there too before i became an ARMY. Then just last year januany and sept i went back there and took a picture again to the places that they’ve been and it is surreal..

There actually was an “Episode 0” for this season as well where the boys found out they were going to New Zealand which is why at the beginning of this episode there was no announcement and they were already talking as if people would know where they were going. Episode 0 was released on their YouTube channel and then about a week later, Episode 1 aired.

Right...lol. When Daniel said their winters were hot and summers were cold, I was like "Huh?" LOL! It's more that the months when they have hot weather are the opposite of ours, as opposed to the seasons. September-November in New Zealand is spring there. (I just looked it up on the newzealand.com website because I was second-guessing myself.)

the way they’ve been doing it for the other seasons is they react to two episodes then react to the behind the cams for those two episodes and repeat. so its likely that’s what they are going to continue doing.

Yeah i remember that, it was awful. From what I remember, it wasn't necessarily the tattoos themselves that stirred up the drama (although there were people criticizing them too) but rather the fact that one of the tattoo artists was a woman. There were leaked photos/cctv footage circling around of them hanging out in the same friend group so it sparked dating rumors which were quite harsh on them, as people were harassing both Jungkook, the female tattoo artist and the tattoo shop's manager and owner... I felt so bad when i saw JK apologizing at the end :/ None of it was his fault and if anything, he and his friends were the ones who should've been apologized to. I'm glad that's far in the past by now and his attitude towards ill natured criticism has changed and he's not afraid to stand his ground, all while being proud of himself and his tattoos.

In the southern hemisphere ( I live in Australia) our summer is Dec, Jan, Feb our Autumn is Mar, Apr and May, winter is June, Jul, Aug and finally our spring is Sept, Oct, and Nov. Hence September when they filmed is Spring. So just think opposite our Winter is your Summer etc. This is my favourite Bon Voyage as I had been to NZ a few years before and went to many places they did like Queenstown, ‘The Sounds’ and I even hired a car there to drive from Queenstown down to the most southern part Invercargill. It is such a breathtaking place. I have travelled to many places and my favourite places in Europe is the UK ( my birthplace), Switzerland and Italy and besides there New Zealand and South Korea. You are going to really enjoy this season. 💜💜💜💜

Jin/bts has their manager/staff with them all the time in public. To not distract audience bighit will blur or cut out irrelevant face showing/public interruptions. You may notice a quality upgrade for this season in terms of recording and editing, and part of the reason is because you barely see staffs compared with S1-3.

Looooove this BV4. I’ve been to NZ twice and it is so worth itttttt! Also as a Singaporean I can only afford economy on Singapore Airlines hahah. Good enough hahah. Biz and first class is super expensive and luxurious which we know our boys deserve it 😜

YAYYYYY 💜💜💜 BV 4 LETS GOOOOO 😁 As much as i love this season and all the things they do i cant help but feel sad for jungkook. He got so much backlash for his tattoo for many reasons ( generally idols dont have visible tattoos , his tatto artist was a woman and there were rumours about the two of them ) Seeing him wear long sleeves and gloves all the time is a little hard. Although now he has broken a stereotype in kpop and wears his tatoo sleeve proudly while still being humble and polite and kind , back then it was something new and unfortunately he had to endure some unfair accusations and treatment. And at the time he only had the ARMY letters on his hand . He should be able to display that proudly and freely . Its the sweetest honour.

Finally here Bon Voyage 4 !!!!! I am so excited. This season is my favorite. They really were so comfortable this season and they did everything they wanted to do! This was filmed end of September/early October in 2019 so early spring in New Zeeland. Knowing what happened in 2020 I am glad they got to do this season then and fulfill a lot of wishes.

Fab. Just to confirm, the 6 flew from Korea to Singapore and then Singapore to Christchurch which is on the South Island of New Zealand. Jin flew direct from Korea to Auckland on the North Island then had to get a short connecting flight (1.5 hrs) from Aukland to Christchurch. I think they were mostly if not entirely based on South Island.

Hi guys just wanted to point out that yes, Zealand is in the Southern Hemisphere so it means that the seasons are the opposite of the Northern Hemisphere. That's why it was filmed in September which is early spring in New Zealand! So from December to February is summer, March to May is fall, June to August is winter and September to November is spring; is not that is cold in the summer and hot on the winters, they are just opposite hehe; happens the same in Chile and Argentina because they are also in the Southern Hemisphere, far from the Equator.

I think the longest flight is new york to Singapore. I took this flight years ago and it was 19 hrs(total travel 32 hrs w/transit😭) but Singapore airline is elite.

In the south, our summer is december to march and winter june to september. BUT you can have hot days in the winter. It's always the opposite season to you guys. But our fall is HOT (only "cold" nights), spring too. Winter you can have here 1 month and a half cold (sadly). I wish I could have a winter WINTER but :( SO when they say "film early spring" it is September in the south

So excited to rewatch this with you guys (though now that I’ve watched the first episode again, I want to binge the whole season immediately!). I love that Abigail commented on Jungkook’s hair- we call his look during BV4 the “triangle kimbap Jungkook” btw. I got a little teary when Hobi, Jimin, and Tae ran up to Jin to hug him when they were reunited. The members were only apart a few hours, but they are still so excited to be back together. Great reaction! Looking forward to this season.

To clarify, what Tae wanted to join (and did join) was the special military police. That’s completely different from the special forces JK said he wanted to join, aka army special warfare - which has a duration of four years of training instead of 18 months, and nothing to do with having or not having tattoos.

My first ever ride on an airplane was 11 hours from San Francisco to Taipei and then another 5 hours from Taipei to Singapore, so I really got thrown into the deep end lol, but I experienced Singapore airlines and from what I remember it was pretty nice (i was like 10 years old at the time)

I don't see in a quick perusal of the comments that anyone has said this--but I'm assuming that Singapore Airlines was a sponsor (or they got free/reduced tickets) because that explains the eye-candy images (at least 2) of the plane in the sky flying. Also, it explains why they don't mention what airline Jin is flying on, and they don't show the plane--that was a last-minute change and they must have paid big bucks for that flight.

Hi guys great video! I am from Brazil and just wanted to let you know that the seasons are opposite, and we use the correct names for it. When your summer starts, our winter starts, and we call it winter and not summer. So, for example, Christmas for us happens during the summer.

Finally what we have all been waiting, thank you! Just my question is why did the summary before the episode need to spoil the RV and camping aspect? I mean you were minutes away from finding out yourselves so not sure why that was necessary. Also if you re-watch your reaction, everyone was so worried about guessing where they were going when you were also minutes from finding out that 3 of you did not read the New Zealand announcement or questioned why Abby screamed it out and just dismissed it like she was guessing again.

Bon Voyage 4 is my favorite season! I'm happy to be watching again with you. You should definitely come to New England...we have beautiful mountains, lakes, and ocean towns as well as the city of Boston which is a cool place to visit.

This is my fav only because I'm from New Zealand. Yes its still a bit cold here in NZ at the beg of sep and also South Island is colder than the North because its closer to the antarctic. Def the best time to travel here where we have just gotten over the worst of our winter. Im so excited for you all to see how beautiful our country is. I still remember the day when pictures got posted of them at the airport. We all got excited bc we were all excited to see them after a month of vacation. It was so funny bc it was announced that they will be on a month long break and news covered it as if they're going on a hiatus. Just for them to come back after a month and shoot bon voyage.

YES!S4! Me from Australia & been to New Zealand a few times love this season so much with all 7 in all episodes. Love NZ's winter (& yes AU & NZ has opposite seasons as you guys), average 8° / -1° down town's warm enougth to do all sorts of activities but cool on the mountain tops with snow for skiing, BEAUTIFUL wallpaper-like scenery (FYI- south & north island with completely different landscape), great fresh food too! I've been to a few spots they visited (a campervan trip to the remaining spots for my next trip!). I looked up their accommodation but... too expensive for me same as a business class flight that would give me a whole Birthday cake XD)! Love they're no longer had a limited budget+better cameras! Except - hate the need to cover JK's tatts!! The home they filmed their packing was their dorm before their chapter 2 solo activities! You can find it in Life Goes On MV, Grammy nomination reaction clip (when RM threw his phone XD), RunBTS episode, Vlives & more! Lol love you guys never-ended-intro/outro! You guys really has to go on CCW BTS Bon Voyage trip, we need the vlogs too!

Proud Singaporean ARMY here!! Love our Singapore Airline and our Changi Airport - best in the world. You've gotta come here to see it for yourself. The airport itself is an attraction! Anyway, back when this was happening, ARMY knew that the boys had gotten together just at the end of their break to film BV4. We were all anticipating their next destination. News broke out that morning as they were leaving the airport, (you think there's no one, but there were already a lot of reporters and fans there), we were all so excited that they were all back together and going somewhere. So when we got the news that they took Singapore Airline at that particular time, SG Army went to work figuring out why they might be coming to SG, eventually we realised that they were going NZ after a short layover here.. SG Army just got super excited.. (we went nuts on Twitter!) thinking we'd be breathing the same air with the boys, even for a moment. So thankful that the airline treated them well. Having walked around the transit area many times before, on my part, I cannot imagine if I were to bump into Suga or J-Hope out of the blue while they are walking around. I'd probably froze or wave and smile from a distance. Haha.. Been to NZ both North and South Island. One of my most memorable trips as I did a self-drive tour too, just in a SUV. The scenery were gorgeous and everything was just so pretty. Went there in June, so it was in the middle of winter. Cold but not bitter cold. You guys should make a trip to NZ.. and fly Singapore Airlines! Hehehehe..

I Went to New Zealand for a month between November to December and the months are still called the same but yh it was basically spring time going into summer. So their seasons are just flipped. Autumn in the west is spring there, winter is summer, spring is autumn and summer is winter. Same for Australia, so when i was in Australia afterwards in December to January it was summer and boiling hot. So when they were there in September it basically would of been the end of winter.

There are some ARMY who have approached them, I know it's difficult to ignore them, but for the most part, we try to let them be. Also, regarding airports, these are flights that HYBE books secretly. Ahhh. BV4 is my FAVORITE season. It is such a comfort show for me. I have watched it several times over. 🥹💜I think you'll agree once you get into it further that BV4 just hits different from the other seasons. It's so relaxed (not without it's moments™️ though 😅) and it's just them traveling.

You always ask so let me tell you. They ALWAYS have staff & bodyguards with them. They are (1) very good at staying away from the camera. At the same time protecting them (2) If they are by chance in camera. They are blurred. So like you were asking that that 1 person was close to Jin. He was the staff (3) The more time you'll see these episodes (like us 😅) the more you'll notice the fans & crowd around them. The security just have a good way of blocking them while they are filming

In general armys also have this rule of "never bother BTS on their off time" And we follow this diligently. I remember when hobi & Tae went on a vacation together with their families. Tae thanked us by saying "to all the armys who saw me & ignored me. Allowed me to enjoy my space peacefully. Thank you so much"

Season 4, love it. here's an easter egg, Sugas song Seesaw is known as the cheesecake song, because it sounds like Suga is singing, Alright she dropped the cheesecake, and at the 1:32 marker, RM is eating cheesecake singing Sugas Seesaw (cheesecake) song. 😅 Goes to show BTS always knows what Armys are thinking. 😂💜And it was the cutest thing JIn rescuing his son RJ in the airport. 😭

Bon Voyage 4 was filmed after a vacation period of about a month from August 12, 2019. If you guess the filming period is around September 13th to 6th, you can see why Singapore Airlines prepared a cake for them. Namjoon's birthday is September 12th and Jungkook's birthday is September 1st. I almost went into the grave waiting for the reaction to Bon Voyage 4 🤣 I'm so happy to see the reaction. 🥰 I'll be waiting for In the soop season 1 and 2!

I was really looking forward to watching this season with you! Super excited to see the next episodes About the seasons. I live in the Southern Hemisphere, so I can try to explain it better to you. Here the seasons are the opposite of those in the Northern Hemisphere, so when it's winter for you, here it's summer, which is why the description of the program said that it was filmed at the beginning of spring, since in the Southern Hemisphere spring starts in September (yes, it's not just the feeling that's opposite to the Northern Hemisphere, the season itself is too, so for us summer starts in December, fall in March, winter in June and spring in September!) Fun fact: that's why during the school term our longest vacation period is actually in December and January, because that's our summer, our winter vacation is only one month, July.

Hola chicos, me encanta su programa, los sigo en Youtube y Patreon, porque soy una Army hace dos años, y ver el contenido de BTS con ustedes es espectacular, en este momento estoy en una maratón con los Bon Voyage y estoy comenzando la 4 temporada, les comento que soy Chilena, no hablo ingles pero lo entiendo y lo leo sin problemas, y solo por ser una fanática del cine y me encanta ver el contenido en lengua original, no dobladas al español, y me identifico con los chicos, por la dificultada de comunicarse en un lugar diferente. A lo que iba, acabo de ver el primer capítulo de esta temporada y mencionaron a Chile por el clima y la diferencia de temperaturas por las estaciones por este lado del planeta, solo quiero mencionar, acá tenemos cuatro estaciones Verano Otoño Invierno y ´primavera, en ese orden comenzando el año, y las estaciones son muy marcadas, con el cambio climático los veranos son tan calurosos que llegados a los 40 grados, y los inviernos con temperaturas bajo cero, en este momento es pleno invierno y en el lado sur de nuestro país el mar se esta congelando y las nevazones son intensas, somos un poco intensos jajajajajaj. Un fuerte abrazo a la distancia, muchos besos y los seguire esperando sus actualizaciones........ :),,,,,,,
