Good Morning VIP Primos!

We hope everyones weekend is off to a great start! We've had a lot of people ask "what happened to episode 40?" The answer is, we will be reacting to it later. We just wanted to watch these 2 episodes that go together first.

BUT today, it's BTS Golden Bell PART 2.

We feel like today only needs 1 word, LAGIBOLALA! 😂

Enjoy today's episode!

Luv 2 run bTs in one week 💜

shafee

this is so random but i hope you guys could react to festa 2022, i’ll be ok to rewatch it and suffer again just so i could watch it with you guys! 😊

suga suga roon!

12:55 That is the Korean’s proverb that has the sickle in the sentence. So suga was so smart to come up with that lol

gabrielle

LAGIBOLALA, jimin is literally so cute 😭😭😭

Liena💐💜

With the roller coaster word for example, in korean there are words that sound very similar to english but they just write it with hangul. Another example would be how cake in korean is pronounced “keikeu”.

ALIRIANA C SOUSA

Lachimolala forever 😅💜🇧🇷

Airi

the legendary lachimolala 😂

riizeingshine

while watching korean variety shows, i realized that they use many english words in korean accent or korean pronunciation which makes it harder but more fun with games like this, i just learned this game from korean variety shows HAHAHAHA they have tons of games that I enjoy

taz

korean has loanwords, which are korean words or phrases that are derived from english and have the same meaning, like rollercoaster or blueberry

Ali

I’m glad you guys like the t-shirts! 💜

PrettiNikki99

Welcome to one of army’s favorite inside jokes. Our amazing beautiful Park Jimin. 💜💜🥰🥰

Charmaine Flynn

I want that shirt now... YEARS after witnessing this iconic moment for the first time

Ali

My favorite member moments in the whisper game: Jin, being Mr. Worldwide Handsome himself, having some instinctive radar that the secret word is “handsome”. He was like a PSYCHIC during this game. That’s the “King”of Run BTS for ya. Yoongi’s silly dances each time he passes the word along are adorable. He gets so into these games when he’s doing well and it’s really precious. Also, the Sope mind connection was working extra hard here. Hobi, with the most serious look I’ve ever seen him have, telling the production team that Jimin is NOT good at this game. And him having such a difficult time being still because he instinctively acts out most of what he says on a daily basis. 😆 Joon- amazing at figuring out the word almost immediately, but so very bad at passing it along. The weird hand gestures and over-the-top pronunciations were a definite hindrance, but very entertaining. Namjoon having so little patience for JK/V figuring out the word was hilarious, too. Tae and Jungkook -the idk-idk-idk-idk-idk exchange took me OUT. Also, the absolute befuddlement on their faces during 70% of this was pure gold. Jungkook’s big Bambi eyes. Tae trying to talk to Joon after he’d already turned his back on him. And Jimin-oh Jimin, Jimin, Jimin- I love him so much. He tried SO hard and was SO earnest and thought he was doing SO well because Jin kept getting the answers. There is something incredibly endearing about Jimin, who is super talented in a multitude of ways, being abysmally bad at this silly little game. The absolute nonsense that kept coming out of his mouth is my favorite part of this episode. All of the members have numerous iconic funny moments in RUN, but there’s a trend where Jimin is either a genius or so hilariously bad at the games throughout the series that he has some of the funniest moments. And Jimin’s ability to laugh at himself in those situations just makes me love him even more.

suga suga roon!

La chi mo la la is THE THING and also be the inside joke till today. Even bts know this and Jimin wrote the song about this word in In The Soop 😂

Noemi Pessoa

Vocês pularam o episódio 40?

Rasha

The girls got new mic 🎙️

Raven Roth

Cant wait for yall to see the lachimolala song on in the soop XDD its so iconiiiiicc

claudia

Lachimolala will always be iconic, you will see it referenced and repeated a lot by Army and Bts through all the content. And about the english words, Korean and Japanese have a lot of English loan words, but they changed the writing. It means they take and English word and write it with their characters but try to pronounce it the same (I say try because K and J have a lot of accent so it is very difficult for Korean and Japanese speakers to pronounce English). I recommend that you watch a very short song about this in your private time: Makudonarudo 2020

nicole s.

fun fact about jimin guessing "Tony Montana" right before all the lachimolala thing: Tony Montana is an Agust D song, and yoongi and jimin performed it together once. the performance was really memorable and army is so crazy about it that yoongi tried to convince jimin to perform it with him on D-Day Tour since Jimin's Suchwita episode. The entire tour we were excited about the possibility, and it happened on the final leg of the tour in Seoul!! you guys need to see it someday, rapper Jimin is really something we don't see often 🤭

LouCas27

I’ve seen this episode several times, and it never gets old 🤣. This EP helps illustrate why ARMY often describes Jin as the “King of Run BTS.” Of course, each member has their iconic moment (s). 😘💜✌️🏻

Be Be

Beautiful 👚 where can I get one…..Thank you CCW & BTS for the laughter. It was very much needed. Have fun wearing the shirts💜💜💜💜

moonie εïз

the english words are loanwords in korean so yes technically they’re in english but they’re not foreign, idk if that makes sense 😭😭. you will hear loanwords a lot if you pay attention really closely when they speak,,,they might sound different bc they do say it in a korean accent,as you saw on the papers the words are spelled out in hangul similarly to how korean gets romanized so we have an easier time pronouncing it😊

tannie misser

99% of the time they aren't really using English, but English loan words. Some loan words that come from the English language don't even have anything to do with it's original meaning, for example ''service'' (서비스) is often used in restaurants when something is ''on the house''. Some other ones, like ''rollercoaster'', are the same as in English. That's just what it is in Korean and it's not really though of as a foreign word, similarly to how English speakers don't think they're using foreign words or speaking another language when they use words like cafe, karaoke, pajamas, irony, enthusiasm, etc. :)

smilehoyaaaaa💜

Cool t-shirts😂💜 Jimin will never live down Lachimolala😂 you will learn soon that Jin is the king of Run BTS 😂

indira lusthoff

DzulGM

Aquí V me hace reír mucho JAJAJAJA Jin Iconic y Jimin y Jungkook 🤣🤣 Uno de mis episodios favoritos

Maria

Now I hope you react to the BTS meme song (fan made)

Randi

Such a fun reaction! I enjoyed watching this with you! No shade, no hate, but can we discuss the possibility that jin could occasionally hear thru the headphones? And the run bts king was carefully choosing when he could safely give the correct answer and when he couldnt? Cuz i swear he looked so mischievous sometimes

LoriG

Jin is amazing! 🤩 Glad you know ‘Lachimolala’ now and will hear this word again!💜

The roller coaster” they said is in korean actually in korean there is tons of words that is written in korean that kind of pronounced as in the same as in english the reason is back then there were some Americans who live in korea or westerners that’s why some of korean dishes have cheese in it although “cheese” is not korean from the very beginning but that’s just like korean and japanese in japanese a lot of words is taken from chinese and english characters in korea some words pronounced the same as in english but it is not in english since the characters are english it is still considered “korean words” but just the same words as in the west but with slightly different pronunciation some words in korean that westerners can understand just like the same way they pronounce roller coaster” is the same as well (hope that makes sense) haha

I don’t believe he could hear, some people are just really good at reading lips and the words he would guess right looked so similar to what they were mouthing, regardless if it was the real word or not lol.

Kearyce Moore

Ohhh the iconic whisper challenge episode💜🤣

ShyGabby

How you are part of the inside joke with army 💜🫰🏽

sc

Thank y’all for connecting the episodes back to back 🙏🏼🥲

Kearyce Moore

Congrats you now have another inside joke in the books

Nikolina

Awwww 💜💜💜 the shirts are so awesome you guys 💜 what an amazing gift from this talented army . Enjoyyyyy them LACHIBOLALA 😍😍😍

송다 미

An/ne/maen/jin/gu gawibawibo ....rock scissors paper in korea pronunciation. Lol.😆

Jacqueline

AHH THE LACHIMOLALA EPISODE LOL. Also in Korean some of their consonants have various sounds. for example at times "L" and "R" are interchanged depending if its at the beginning of a word or in the middle of the word. In their example "rollercoaster" may sound like "lollercoaster"

Nallie

I was so excited for this episode, I'm glad you had so much fun! Thank you for the reaction!

Amanda Michelle

BEST REACTION TO THE BEST RUN BTS EPISODE!! LOL! I've been waiting for y'all to discover Lachimolahlah for SO LONG! LOL! This was really great! And the t-shirts are PERFECT!!

Cherish Poole

roller coaster is the same in korean as in english, same with the other english words

Crista Rigg

Those are the best! Great job, Ali. Thank you for adding extra fun to the reaction. I enjoying seeing what other people think matches the episodes. Lachimolala is iconic and the shirts are a great way to subtly "notify" other ARMY.💜

Joanne Ike

Love the reaction!!! I'm really glad you all are having fun!!!

Nana

im so happy you got to this episoodeee it makes me laugh so much

Catarina

Side Note: since "Lachimolala" doesn't mean anything and since different channels made the subs at the time, you'll find it written in diff ways (lachimolala, lajimolala, largebolala, etc) but they're all the same and the one in the shirt is in fact the most common way to write it

Catarina

We love "Lachimolala"! It is an inside joke even among BTS themselves and you'll se references of it in future videos lol

violene vincent

I enjoyed watching reactions with you guys. While watching this I was thinking, did they watch House of Army already???

Camille

Modern Korean in South Korea incorporates a lot of english words & phrases into its everyday vernacular. For example, ice cream, pizza, iced americano, cheese, hotel, etc. are all commonly used words - the 'extra' syllables you sometimes hear come from incorporating the spelling rules in Hangul/Korean lettering and applying them to english words. For example, ice cream/아이스크림 - in english, 'ice cream' has 2 syllables total, in Korean it has 5 [아 (ah) + 이 (ee) + 스 (seu) + 크 (keu) + 림 (reem)], even though it is exactly the same phrase & not a translation from one language to another like 'hello' vs '안녕하세요/annyeonghaseyo.' So in the instances like 'blueberry' [bul-leu-beh-ri] during the episode, the members weren't wrong for 'adding syllables'; that's just how english borrow words sound/are spelled in Korean! 😇 Lachimolala? That's just Jimin speak tho 😂TY for uploading!!

Blessed

Time for "So I Made a Song out of BTS Memes"! Please do a reaction to that one--you will love it!

Mireille

What a fun episode!!! As far as the shirt please wear it whenever it's convenient. It shouldn't be specifically to a Korean restaurant like Gabriel said lol. I guess point is it won't matter where you wear it because armys are everywhereeeee.

Mirnan ⚖️

Please React to in the soop it’s sooo funny and makes you know there personality really well , and I really loves your reaction “ Mirnan from Saudi “

Ashleyder

Lachimolala is a whole Thing now, lolol. Even the guys themselves still regularly reference it.

ali

not sure if i’ve missed it being mentioned but do you plan to also react to the run behind the scenes clips? i think it would be best to watch them after each episode :)

FY

They are probably going to react to it after bon voyage 4

Dottie

lol finally you are in Lachimolala XDDD

ali yana

This is one of my favorite episodes. Lachimolala is hilarious!

Jacqueline

The gift is amazing!

Ruth

and since then this lagibolala/lachimolala shenanigans will haunt him for the rest of his life 🤣 you’ll find the guys continuously tease him (esp. tae and kook 😂) for this in their shows (run bts, in the soop, etc). can’t wait til you’re being introduced to ‘the’ rock bison!

EKMontie

Lachimolala is def an ARMY thing and you'll come to see even Jimin/BTS reference it now and then. 😂

Chloe

Eeek i want that shirt

DanielleM

Thanks for this reaction guys!💜 Btw, they do translate the Korean writting. Like in this episode everytime Jin wrote a word or sound on his drawing they translated it or like in the last episode they did translate what was written for the losers punishment that Jk wrote. Also in the Shouting in silences game with the headphones on when they had a korean word they had the translation inbetween (English word).

Ivy

Yes! Its like being in a secret society! Where the muggles would be clueless and Armys would be so happy to see kindred spirits in the wild lol 💜

정쿠키🍪

Lajibolalaㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ♡

Emmy

I can tell the guys would have preferred oversized /loose fit shirts lol, but what an awesome gift and fun video surprise!

Nicole Coleman

It was on IN THE SOOP 1- V was locked out, and boys were asking him for the Password. He said LACHIMOLALA.

수진 김

라지벌라라 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

iheartstrwbrry

2:41-2:45 the translation in brackets are the editor's opinion and it gets funnier 🤣

Ashley

koreans use english pretty often. they just write it out in korean syllables. so the english words are not unfamliiar to the boys, they likely use them pretty often. loan words like pizza that aren't native korean words are just written out in hangul in korea.

Rachel Hernandez

I'm rewatching all the bts episodes from beginning withh you all but camer here to tell you, I can wait for you guys to watch the blue village one! Episodes 47 and 48! It's iconic!

I was laughing when Suga said that Japan does not have Udon. I don't know what the exact translation is; however, Japan does have Udon. There are quite a few Udon dishes.
