Good Morning VIP Primos!

Welcome back for Ep 2 of Break The Silence! “You Can Call Me Idol" Last week we kicked this show off and we were ready for more!

This week the guys are in Taiwan and getting real on how hard it is to bring something new to every performance. And just how hard it is when they aren't at the top of their games!

Enjoy today's reaction and see you in the comments!

I love how each one them work hard to create BTS amazing as a group.

Lainee Fenton

I can guarantee you will not know what the weather is based on what BTS is wearing 😂 do not count on them to tell you what the weather is, like you guys noticed Hobi ws in shorts, everyone else is in jeans during soundcheck. Then they hit Singapore, it's hot as heck, and they are in hoodies 😂 like whaaat?

mari

You saw the Jimin and RM video from the Taylor guide so that's probably why it's a little hard to remember

2024-03-29 10:45:47 You have to pay extra to get soundcheck!! i really love how we get to see behind the scenes of their concerts because if they didn't show this, we wouldn't get to see all the hardships or challenges they go through in life or their personal thoughts because they always seem so happy on stage. To see some of them disappointed with the way they performed is really shocking and upsetting because when we see them peform,it's absolutely fantastic even though they say ''oh, I could of done better..'' ect. Enjoyed this reaction!! keep up the amazing work guys!!😆👍👍

Summer's face because of the applause at the beginning of this cracked me up. LOL

Anija

Soundcheck literal cost an arm and a leg lmaoooo I wish it would be free

nina

since they were on the verge of breaking up, i think they definitely made it a priority with this series to showcase how close they are despite that and how much they still love being in bts! 💜

justsarah

Jin always finds something small that he can change in his appearance or outfit when they're on tour. When they did the PTD LA concerts, he had some sort of head accessory in their final segment of the concert and it was fun to anticipate what he was going to do with his hair for the next concert.

Ceejay

Soundcheck definitely does cost extra but idk how much. I paid about $500 per ticket for silver soundcheck in 2022 for PTD Las Vegas and I can only imagine how much more it’ll be post-military and with dynamic pricing inflating prices like crazy. Gold soundcheck is even more expensive (you get some different perks and are closest to the stage). Better start saving now. 😭 I’m going to have to sell a kidney atp bc ticket sales will be brutal.

gagan

loved it! i love seeing the behind the scenes of their concerts, it really makes you appreciate all their hard work and their mindset going into, and after each show. also, i think you saw that clip of joon and jimin from the taylor guide way back when, kinda insane you remembered that, i'm proud lmao. excited for the next ep!

nav

It's fun watching it with you guys <3

Dillies K.

Singaporean here 😆 It is summer all year round for a country on the equator. What is winter? Hahahaha

Chalanna

The clip of RM and Jimin was familiar because it was used in Taylor’s guide to BTS 😊

Gacha_cookie 117

For real and only if I’m able to get a ticket lol. I’ll keep my kidney healthy so later on I can just sell it T-T

Chien

Taiwan! My home country! Can't believe five years have passed since that concert......

Andredayyy

Prices are crazy for concert tickets because of the monopoly snd price fixes from ticketmaster and live nation and deals with secondary sales. So it was cheaper for me to get soundcheck vip than a seat which is craaaazy

Chien

I think it differs from country to country... In this episode, attendees of the soundcheck at the Taiwan concert are drawn from those who purchased the highest-priced tickets!

TulipMae

Suga’s Seesaw, one of the songs that pulled me down the rabbit hole. 💜

Nallie

It's okay Gabriel we know you enjoy everything! I'm a silent enjoyer too as opposed to my friends who like to comment actively when we watch something. Amazing reaction, thank youuu!

Zahidah Amat

So happy when they came to my hot & humid country , Singapore. I was at that concert with my nieces. Such a fun and memorable one. When Jimin fell down on stage, all of us were like oh no! But he just laughed it off and danced away...such a pro...

Leeh Marx

I loved Gabriel's comments today! Wish we could hear you more! Great reaction as always

shafee

you guys should react to “promise” and “scenery” its a good song

gabs

If it was free it would basically be busan every soundtrack 😭😭

Miz Ann

The one got Jimin startled was at guide video about RM being the main song writer of BTS. I'm excited about the coming eps, specially when they started the Love Yourself, Speak Yourself tour. One of my favorite tour era. They came here in Riyadh,Saudi Arabia. That's when I saw Arab women gone wild. Lol. 💜💜

Aria

Not even joking, I was out running errands when this video dropped, and I drove home to not use data just so I can watch this 💀 I've been missing bts more n more lately, any content I can get of them, I'm devouring 😭

Nikolina

I love these reactions soo much 💜 Combining the music and the behind the scenes and the bond the boys have . Makes me emotional to think i joined so late (2020) and missed the love yourself era . Thank you guys for your reaction. Watching it for the second time with you makes it extra special PS promise by jimin is such a special song . You will love it 💜

Ali

This episode highlighting the guidance the older members provide for the younger ones catches me in the feels. Jimin and RM, J-Hope/Suga and Jungkook, and Tae talking about how seeing the older members write music is what makes him want to follow in their footsteps. Jin talking about changing up his performance reminds me of the “secret heart event” he did at the concerts during the Wings tour (i think it was Wings…). Armys were going online to show everyone clips of “where Jin hid the heart in today’s show!” as soon as the concerts were over. It was such a fun, unique way for all of us to take part in each of the tour dates. This docuseries does focus a lot on their group bond and I think it’s partly due to design because of all they’d been through as a group and partly because I feel like they were all just genuinely happy that everything worked out and they were still together. Bon Voyage 4 has some of this same feeling, in my opinion- a lot of focus on the members loving one another.

ravel

it will always be special to me that the 95s got into songwriting this seriously at the same time, soulmates fr

Laira

The fascinating thing about Joon’s ability and songwriting gift is retaining their individual voices and perspective. He wrote with and for every single one of the four vocalist and every single song is remarkably different. Abyss is vastly different from Promise or Singularity. His path to words and his skill to give emotions/thoughts their suitable expressions and phrases is astonishing. Our Army translators (and even some “professional” Korean translators and native speakers) have had trouble translating his lyrics in the past and capturing his beautiful poetry and eloquent sentence structure.

Emmy

The scene with Jimin and RM on the bed was from the Taylor Guide, it was shown during RM's introduction...

SNBangtan

j-hope's advice to Jungkook was great wisdom, I think. j-hope is the best performer in the group--really in the whole kpop industry. You will never catch him doing anything other than an amazing, dynamic, engaging, and technically excellent performance on stage. No one could accuse him of slacking or not having energy or not giving 110% in any performance. And yet, as was revealed on Suchwita, j-hope is the only member who has never had to sit out a concert performance due to injury or otherwise being physically unwell. He's never had to sit in the chair on stage. In the Memories DVD version of that clip (where Hobi is talking to JK about pacing), j-hope says you have to know when to go 110% and when to LOOK like you're going 110% while you're really going 80%. Jimin then says that Hobi is the master of that and JK should watch him and learn. The boys (and Hobi himself) have mentioned that Hobi's stamina isn't the strongest of the group so he's said he had to learn early on how to take care of his body and energy. It's advice he passes onto trainees these days when he mentors. So, for me, that clip with Jungkook, was just another example of Hobi's excellent and important leadership with regard to their dance and performance. And it's so clear that Jungkook was listening and really taking in what Hobi had to say.

Kearyce Moore

All the members go to the rapline for advice on how they're trying to write or say in their songs

Rokm_

Thank you for the reaction. Always a joy to see the members help out each other like RM was helping Jimin with Promise. The music turned out to be so good, and so Jimin! And Jimin is also known for being really good with creating melodies for the group and in his solo career. He helped, although unfortunately not credited, with the melody in Blood, Sweat & Tears, Promise (obviously), Disease (which he did the bridge) among others. Also here I come with my weekly request for you to watch The LY: Speak Yourself - The Final in Seoul concert once you get to watch the concerts. 😊

Kearyce Moore

Y'all have seen ON how many times live or any of the songs, they do switch up the performance when they do a song over & over again, cause it does look brand new even if it is the same song. Which is why we as army don't get bored watching the performances

Jéssica Molinari

Guys, the RM and Jimin part you saw on Taylor's guide. I was hoping you would remember seeing it! I dont remember if Break The Silence have a good brazilian concert part, but I hope it is. You guys haveeee to react to Brazil's energy!!! LATINOSSSS

smilehoyaaaaa💜

I'm always amazed at Jungkook. This man is an incredible singer, dancer, performer and still he is able to remain so humble and introspective about his abilities and growth. He is amazing. I hope he reaches his dream, like he mentioned on Suchwita, of being able to see just how amazing he really is. 💜 I'm always at a loss for words with Joon and how he is able to assist the members with writing songs about themselves without pouring himself into it as well. He helps them capture their feelings so well and it just proves further and further why he is the born leader of BTS. He knows them so well and I love how much they trust him to bring out different sides of them to put into their songs. Love Hobi's big brother moment with Kookie it was so cute and Kookie's puppy eyes?!! I can't 😭 I reaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllyyyyyyyyy hope you guys hear Seesaw soon😭😭😭

smilehoyaaaaa💜

Hopefully you guys get a chance to listen and watch Seesaw😭 one of Yoongi's most iconic solo songs 🥺💜

Dani

Sound check might as well be a lottery. I only managed to snag one sound check ticket for a map of the soul concert and we all know how that went 😅💀

Samantha Rivero

Idol groups not just bts with the relationship they have with their members are so special to watch and see how much they love and respect each other.

Dee

for your thoughts about soundcheck, every ticket within the first few rows of the stage automatically gets soundcheck! theres different VIP packages depending on where you are on the floor / how close you are to the stage so some ticketholders might get different benefits and free goodies than others.

Dee

i was lucky enough to get gold vip for PTD las vegas and it was a dream 🥹 the money was worth it lol

Helen H

True I think they get along much more compared to western groups but that does not mean all there were scandals of multiple group pretending to get along/ just not getting along which is understandable but yeah most get along

Helen H

I so badly want to go to their concert my boyfriend went there earlier than me and said it was amazing and he’s not even a army back then

BZ

Break The Silence is such a good docuseries! It gets better with each episode. I rewatched it again before CCW started their reactions to it to remember some key moments! So I am super excited to see all your thoughts on it when they come in the next episodes.

Shreya

yea the memories scene of that particular moment really shows why j hope is such a good dance leader to all of them

Shreya

jimin's song promise holds a very special place it being his first written single and also it broke numerous records on sound-cloud

Itami

Watching this again reminded me of Jungkook on Suchwita when Suga said he was glad jungkook had grown in that he doesnt beat himself up as bad as before. He said before when JK would get stuck on something he would not be able to move past it and would beat himself up a lot over it,, but nowadays he tries his best to look at things more objectively

earlene torres

Unlike most Armys, I am taking this journey of the docuseries in real time with your viewing and reactions. I had not had the chance to get to any of these because Weverse originally had them as a paid content offering, like BV and ITS. I really like the insight given with each member's perspective. I was like you, only seeing clips from Taylor Guide about Jimin & RM writing scene. This was the first time I got to see/hear the whole dialogue. So proud of Jimin's "Promise" song that broke over 3 billion streams on Soundcloud and counting. Thanks CCW - looking forward on continuing the series with y'all! 💜🙏🏻

Kookielove82

Jhope is just a respected dance leader and member overall and Jungkook has always had so much respect for Hobi so you can see him taking in what Jhope was saying, through out your bts journey you will see how hard Jungkook is on himself. He has grown so much and you can see how much he has changed. Its amazing to see how much his confidence has grown.

2024-03-29 10:45:47 I know it’ll be a while and that’s so ok, but I am SO excited for y’all to get into In The Soop! You mentioned loving seeing the brotherhood between them more this time, so I’m very excited for you to see that in ITS when the time comes 😊

can i ask how much was gold vip? I'm currently saving for the future tour lol, but I want to get a sense of how much is a ticket (gold vip)

Dee

it was $565 with taxes and fees ! and same i’m also trying to save 😭 id also take a look at other HYBE groups going on tour this year like tomorrow x together for instance for a more updated estimated price range of what bts tickets could look like

Amanda P

Especially in the soop 2, that's my fave show of theirs! Also can't wait to see ccw reaction to where they stay at for its2 haha

Derrika Clements

Gabriel reminds me of Suga a lot lol..Quiet and only speaks when he has something to say. Also get him started on music and production and you have him locked. I think that’s why I love ccw reaction you have 4 very different people having 4 different reactions to the same content and enjoying the journey in their own way!

Catarina

Don't worry about it Gabriel, don't worry about it Abi. You nice, keep going <3

Nanon ApoBangpo⁷

Are you guys gonna be reacting to PTD Los Angeles videos after In The Soop 2??

Chanelle

It just dawned on me when they were watching "Seesaw"... they just stopped reacting to album reviews to make way for BU, right before Love Yourself series LOL! Because of Her and Tear being short, and Answer having a lot of the same songs, they probably could have done them all in 1 day. I can't remember every song that plays in the doc, but I hope they aren't spoiled too bad considering this is the Love Yourself/Speak Yourself Tours so all of the music from those albums will be part of it.

laura

the members mentioning changing things for fans to have a different experience and not get "bored" has been done for many years ! i love it sm. while i dont think i would ever get bored, little details like that make the concerts even more memorable. they are so aware of everything its so admirable and sweet. as ive mentioned in the past, i was lucky enough to see them in PTD LA for all 4 dates, and those shows exactly showed JUST THAT. they had the same set list with the exception of like 1-2 songs. Jin wore a different RJ item for everyday, tae wore a Squid Games fit for day 3, and etc. i specifically remember moments like that even going viral, you never know what surprise they give you at certain shows and its so exciting. not only that but they always have different speeches near the end too, they never repeat the same things so it just makes every show special for army.

bembolbee

My favorite version is the very first one whree eceryone lost it when the chireograpy kicked in!

smilehoyaaaaa💜

I love watching the behind the scenes when he was complaining about rehearsing this choreography and the members making fun of him saying he was the one who said he wanted to dance😂 Yoongi in the dance line when? After Haegum it was official for me😭

The clip of Jimin and Rm is from Taylor’s guide.

Lenny Merlenna

I'm from Singapore and to relate to what the members were saying about being to their concert for that one and only time to experience what we get to see that one time is very true. I feel that they really think about our experience when we attend their concert and for an artiste who really cares about what their audience will get by coming, says a lot about their craft. I was there at the Singapore concert which was my one and only physical concert I've been. I bet no one could tell JK made any mistake and to only find out through this documentary that he broke down right after the concert, really hurts.. if only we could convey the message to him that we are so proud of all of them no matter what. Oh and Singapore is very near the equator, we only have 2 seasons. Sunny and rainy. It's hot and humid all year round. So as Singaporeans, we really get it when someone is totally flat out exhausted after working out, what more sing and dance in this heat! On the other hand, we never have the need to wear layers here! Haha..

Laura Hardie

Love the surprise at seeing Suga dance for a solo. Out of the non-dance line members, he actually has dance in his solos the most (during their group break he took lessons and was really into it). Can't wait til you see the Haegeum dance video. 😁

Alice Smith

It was requested many times for Sugas bday week but they chose something else. It really shows a different side of Suga. And there's a short video of the members appreciating him and imitating him..it's really cute.

Anj08@Hopeonthestreet

i was actually shock to hear in Suchwita that he is the only one left who did not sit on the "reflection chair", given the kind of energy he shows during concerts, not saying the others did not because they all do , but Hope's energy can really be felt even on screen , and some who went to their concert have the same comments too, that's why many are saying they are biased wrecked by Hobi after the concert

findingfortythree

Now they have a taste of Seesaw.... 😘🙏🙏

Anne Tan

In singapore, "is it hot in january?" me from malaysia, yes its hot and humid, sun and rain all year round.

Seriously, Suga said several interesting things in this episode, how could they not have remembered to comment on anything he said? His hair literally changed color halfway through the interview, from black to white, and no one noticed or commented on it. V's red hair was mentioned so many times, it seriously blows my mind how much what Yoongi says and does is left aside and it's not just from this episode or this documentary I always notice this happening.

Dayi BV

Tae has a beautiful and unique way of expressing his feelings with words, but unlike RM, he always does it in a colorful, abstract and simple way. In fact, they are my favorite lyricists in BTS. The way Taehyung perceives the world is so precious, genuine and pure, sometimes like that of a wise child. Of course he still has a lot to learn and a long way to go, but he will undoubtedly achieve great things on his own if he doesn't stop working on his lyrics and music. He hasn't released many songs, but thanks to the fact that he often shares pieces of them with Army we have been able to see his great potential. He lacks confidence.
