The Marin County Fair is my favorite local county fair. It's not in San Francisco, so the price is a little lower, and it's not as crowded. There's plenty of parking as well. My favorite part is the fireworks which happen every night! My tip? Find a spot along the lake opposite of the fair for a great viewing spot of the fireworks. Barely anyone goes over to that side of the lake to watch them, while people are crowding the entire lakeside on the fairground side.

Do you use a tripod for firework photos, was this taken on a phone or with a camera? I used my Nikon L340 last weekend with the fireworks setting with a 4 second shutter and no tripod on the beach. first time I've used the camera for fireworks. https://imgur.com/a/IsHLVeW my favorite that I'm thinking of making my desktop walpaper https://imgur.com/JXHXtC0 while the suroundings are blured fireworks like pixel perfect. I also setup a tripod with my phone to record a video of the fireworks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Mb0tWDOR_A used three different bits of kit to put my phone on a stable possition even though it was gusty. I'm not sure if you know the answer but the video kept refocussing while recording between each firwork.

Amazingly, I took this picture on my Pixel 3 XL handheld! It came out so well, I was really surprised! I love the photos you shared and yes - I do think that last one would be nice as a wallpaper. Excellent shots!

Thanks :D little trick I used to get steady shots was I held the camera lower than my head around chest height and held as comfortably far away from me to the point the neck strap was pulling without slack. Was concerned that with the wind that four seconds would be insane to capture anything that resulted this sharp of an image. Earlier in the day I was very close to where they were setting up all the fireworks on the beach while the airshow was taking place. That's incredible that a phone was able to capture that without blowing out the image brightness and it captured the trails which is important for fireworks as you'd only otherwise get the end explosion. As for location, I stood on the bandstand at the beach nice flat surface away from the pebbles.
