If you're into wartime history, this museum is really cool to see. Located in Alameda, CA, the USS Hornet Museum is a legit museum on a naval air carrier that was used in WWII. There's still tons of artifacts aboard the ship dating back to those times, and they've also brought on board lots of history like this Apollo command module, since the USS Hornet was in charge of bringing back astronauts who landed in the ocean. You can easily spend a few hours here learning all about the ship.
