If you are in the Big Sur area in California, go to Nepenthe for lunch or dinner. Keith and I went here while it was pretty foggy so we couldn't see the panoramic views of the Pacific ocean, but on a clear day you can see for miles. The outdoor patio has a really nice atmosphere for hanging out and grabbing a burger. And I can't recommend the ambrosiaburger enough. It's ground steak on a french roll with their ambrosia sauce... amazingly tasty.
