I randomly came across this local pirate festival several years ago, and I've been going ever since! It only happens once weekend each year, usually falling on Father's Day. We dress up as pirates (or in this case, characters from The Princess Bride!), drink lots of grog, and listen to merry music. It's ton of fun!
