Did you lower the volume of the "cricket" noises (the only way I can describe them) since the WIP? If so, I'm happy you did because I remember them being very jarring til now. Now everything seems much better balanced!

I certainly did! The WIPs are always rough around the edges cause I make them without headphones normally resulting in poor balancw of volume and panning I would love to tackle more DKC songs and RARE in general if u have more in store

Tell ya what, I got one from each of the DKC games! DKC1- I'd like to see you tackle Forest Frenzy again (Yes I know you did a V2 back in 2015, but you got 7 years of experience since then!). DKC2 - Rattle Battle, I've always loved how jaunty that one is. and DKC 3 - Treetop Tumble, kind of a low-key one, but I'm curious to see how how you'd approach it!

Revisiting the whole trilogy will be really fun, i actually think dkc3 matches the soundchip the best with its gritty dark atmosphere

I agree! I played it all the way through for the first time recently and and for the most part the music really has that darker, moody, and atmospheric tone!
