22 July UPDATE: Just released a 1-click installer for runpod.
Choose a GPU with at least 24gb of VRAM (a cheap 3090 is great), and choose the
Pytorch 2.2.0 template!!!!!! very important then click edit template and then edit for each container disk and volume disk size from 20gb to 40gb each then click set overrides.

Go to my pods, wait for everything to finish and then click "connect", then "Connect to Jupyter Lab"

Drag and drop the STABLE-CASCADE_AUTO_INSTALL-RUNPOD.sh on the left side of the UI then click on the "Terminal" icon on the right side on the UI

Copy and paste these two lines then press enter:

chmod +x STABLE-CASCADE_AUTO_INSTALL-RUNPOD.sh

./STABLE-CASCADE_AUTO_INSTALL-RUNPOD.sh

Wait for everything to be installed

Click on the public URL to start Using Stable Cascade😉!

Hey everyone! I've created a 1-click installer for the NEXT-GEN Stable Cascade, the newest Ai model from Stability Ai! That takes a step toward the future! With better prompts understanding, better text, better hands, better overall aesthetic, etc.

Watch the video about Stable Cascade: https://youtu.be/YMxXtaiVHks

The installer of course automates the entire install process!

Here's how it works:

1. Download the installer (STABLE-CASCADE_AUTO_INSTALL.bat) and the launcher (LAUNCHER - CASCADE.bat )

2. Create a new folder on your computer and place the installer inside

3. Launch the installer

4.???

5. Profit  😎

You can then put the launcher inside the newly created "Stable-Cascade" folder and double it each time you want to launch Stable Cascade!😉

As always, supporting me on Patreon allows me to keep creating helpful resources like this for the community. Thank you for your support - now go have some fun😉!

I couldn't get it to run on a RTX 4070 8gb needs 16gb ?

Callicles

Install went ok, launches, opens local UI window, but when I enter a prompt and hit run I receive the error "NameError: name 'previewer' is not defined. Did you mean: 'Previewer'?"

Aitrepreneur

you don't need 16gb but depending on the amount of vram it's gonna be slower or very slow in your case

Aitrepreneur

it's a bad python install error. You need to first make sure that there is no python installs, or uninstall all of them in the add/remove programs, then use the python installer to install python https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.6/python-3.10.6-amd64.exe (by checking the add to path checkbox), then go to the environment variables, and make sure that python was indeed correctly added to path, then disable any antivirus/firewall that may block the connection, and also try to use this installer: https://we.tl/t-IpUILB3ufh Make sure to NOT INSTALL THIS inside a Onedrive folder but directly on your pc folder (desktop, documents, etc) a looooot of people do this and it ends in error also.

Just wanted to stop by and say thanks. This has been incredibly fun to play around with. The accuracy is exceptionally insane.

Aitrepreneur

Hold on to your horses now, it's still just a preview model, the final model is still in training ;)

Hello there. When I run the auto launcher I don't know where it installs to. it's not in program files. when I run the launch file it quickly shuts down. I drag the launch file into command prompt and it says "The system cannot find the path specified. Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut fro > Manage App Execution Aliases."

Anonymous

I finally got the auto install to run, the UI opens in the browser but when I enter a prompt it says "error"

Fernando

Thank you so much for this! Quick question, have you ever thought about a tutorial on training sliders? I think they are incredibly powerful in SD1.5, but in SDXL they don't seem to work all that well. Would be great to get an expert tutorial from you on it. Just an idea! :-)

It’s not an installer problem or your scripts but damn does it run slow af. Easy diffusion with sdxl 1.0 runs great on my system. But this thing. Oi vey. Which sucks cause I’ve got some AWESOME creations from the huggingfsce demo. I can’t wait for these things to be better optimized so they can even run nicely in a cell phone. Or a raspberry pi 4.

Sharing in case someone else falls into the same bucket that I did. With some help of our Aitrepreneur we were able to isolate my install problem having to do with [errno 10054] connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. We at the time suspected it had something to do with a firewall or antivirus but could not find a culprit and we gave up at the time. I continued to research on my end and from what I could tell my ISP was blacklisting the huggingface repo. At this point I turned on my vpn, set my connection to a region not in the US, and ran the .bat which installed without any of the previous issues I was experiencing.

it's pretty great but it really hates NSFW :c

I have stable diffusion 1.5 installed on my windows10 computer. Can I install the SD Cascade and the SD XL as separate programs in different directories on my computer or does the installer you have for SD Cascade mix it all together?

Aitrepreneur

sd cascade here is a standalone webui, not linked to the automatic1111 webui where you run SD 1.5

Latrice Goodwin

CMD poofs after failed to download python even though python downloads a installer onto the folder.

Mike S

I noticed the same behavior. Worked around it by running the commands manually from the script.

Mike S

One other thing to consider is when Python is installed it sets up the environment path for Windows. This allows executing python and pip from anywhere. However, this environment does not update during the install script. Eventually on first run of the script, you will get errors for python and pip not being a recognized application. Running the script again will work because the new shell has loaded the changed path.

Having a problem with this error: TypeError: StableCascadePriorPipeline.__call__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'callback' This is happening on 2 clean installs. What am I doing wrong?

Aitrepreneur

Have you tried reinstalling it completely recently? I updated the repo a few days ago to fix this error.

Rodger Hurlburt

Where is this being installed? Its clear where regular sdxl is. But I ran out of space while installing this, ran batch file from a folder on a storage drive with space but it filled up my c drive.

Hello Aitrepreneur ! I have a problem with RVC, the "normal" mode works well, using "go-web.bat" but not the real-time version "go-realtime-gui.bat" and gives me an error. It wont launch. I have Launcher - Cascade.bat in the folder. when I double click it the command prompt opens than immediately closes.

Aitrepreneur

open a new command prompt window and drag and drop the launcher inside and press enter, see what it tells you

after doing 1 click install and trying to use Stable Cascade , every time i hit Run, i get error. in the console it says AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'to' any idea what to do?

Descartes

Hi. I installed it and it works well. However the web interface doesnt have features like img to img, outpainting etc... Is there a more extended UI ?

Aitrepreneur

I think you are mistaking it for the stable diffusion webui, look for stable diffusion webui on my patron page, you'll find the 1 click installer for it

Breaker

I personally can't get the 1 Click installer to work, as it closes automatically after a few seconds :(

Aitrepreneur

could a multitude of reasons, first open a command prompt window and drag and drop the installer file inside the window, then press enter, this should avoid the window from closing and it will at least give us an error code we can use to troubleshoot the error, make also sure that you have disabled any antivirus/firewall from running and blocking the file/connection. This could also be a bad initial python install, you need to uninstall your current python installation and reinstall it correctly. Go to the add and remove programs, search for python and uninstall both the current python version and the python install program. Once this is done, go here and download this installer: https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.6/python-3.10.6-amd64.exe Run it and check the “Add python 3.10 to Path” checkbox and continue with the installation.

This is probably a bad initial python install, you need to uninstall your current python installation and reinstall it correctly. Go to the add and remove programs, search for python and uninstall both the current python version and the python install program. Once this is done, go here and download this installer: https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.11/python-3.10.11-amd64.exe Run it and check the “Add python 3.10 to Path” checkbox and continue with the installation. You can check that the right python version is installed by opening a new command prompt window and typing: python --version and it should give you the 3.10.11 version Then just relaunch the 1-click installer in a new folder and try again. Also do not run the installer as admin, just the installer normally

Travis

Is there a way I can get this to work with RunPod ?

Travis

Amazing! Thanks so much - I'll check this out later today <3

this is a connection issue, make sure you don't have any antiviruses or vpn running and try again
