Best wishes to you and yours for the season (it's... Winter?) and the New Year. A friend tried to get me into it 35 years ago. I kinda saw this coming even then and walked away. Sorry/not sorry.

2023-12-27 23:39:01 I had a similar experience with magic the gathering. Replace the phrase sold them with had them stolen from me. I still had a few things they missed, but I simply could not muster up any anjoyment for the game after seeing 23 years of collecting vanish overnight. That happened right before 2020. Right before hasbro started completely loosing it's mind. I am kinda glad I don't have to put up with what MTG players deal with now. And I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I almost forgot that I need to act like a decent person instead of a cranky gaming goblin.

A friend successfully got me into MtG back in the dim dark days of Revised. I got out again when I had to move and cut my posessions down to what I could move to another city in a car load or two. By then Hasbro had bought WoTC and they were churning sets out like crazy. I thought they were oversaturating their market but they made it work to my surprise. I was losing interest by the time I had to move. My friends weren't playing as much and I couldn't afford to keep up with the faster release pace anyway.
