I just wanted to take a second to thank you patrons for supporting me, especially through the really difficult time the last couple of years has been.  I know the quality of my work has suffered and you deserve better.  I wanted you all to know that you specifically have allowed me to keep working on the comic and have improved the quality of my life much more than I can ever properly express.  With just you guys supporting me I can keep the comic going even as ad revenue drops off.  I don't have to live in complete misery because you all allow me to.  I'm so grateful for that.  Hopefully as the new year comes I'll finally start really getting better physically and can get back to producing things the way I used to.  Hopefully significantly better than I used to, but lets keep the bar low for now.  I'm still in a lot of pain almost constantly now, but I'm learning to work faster again in spite of that.  As my parts start working properly again it should allow me to produce things even faster, fingers crossed.  Anyway don't ever think that your dollar a month, or whatever doesn't matter because it absolutely does.  Not just for me either.  She doesn't really know it, but the Teen has gotten so much stuff because you guys allowed me to buy it for her.  She seems to think that my money comes from some magical place where I don't have to do anything, but it comes from you guys way more than from the advertising on the site.  She got to go to a concert, see movies all the time,  gets to buy presents for her friends, and all kinds of other stuff because of you.  I apologize for not being able to do more for you all because you've done so much for me.

I know a string of words isn't as good as another comic page, or whatever, but I think it's important to acknowledge your support in some way from time to time.

Thanks.

Hey we are all getting roughed up this year. We know you need time to keep your life in line. Keep fighting the good fight.

As somebody who's had a different kind of a couple of shitty years, but is grateful for the good that came with it as well, you're welcome. Nevermind quality and thanks though, so long as you get better.

You're a better artist and writer/storyteller than I'll ever be. I can't draw a straight line without using a ruler, and sometimes I even screw that up T^T I'm happy to support you (and the Teen), I only wish I could do more. You do good work, even if it's not up to your standards. Besides, as an avid reader, I'm used to waiting years between books/updates. Just don't pull a Robert Jordan or Frank Herbert on us!

glad to help out. Your art and stories are more than worth it! Keep on keepin' on brother!

It's for you as much as for the comic that I donate. You have managed to touch me emotionally more than anyone else in recent years. I am glad to be of service to you and look forward to everything that you do. Unfortunately words fail me and I can't put all my feelings as well as you can. Stay safe. We all look forward to MANY more years of you as an artist and writter.

I only wish I could do more to help. We all have shit in our lives, I have a ton of shit too, which is why I do what little I can to help you out. You provide a service I deem extremely valuable, regardless of my own daemons making mountains out of mole hills. I never thought you were taking this money for granted, and I'm glad to hear it is helping. Honestly I would be very sad if this comic stopped existing, I would rather it slow down then not be there at all. If I could afford to have you on a salary, I would. Seriously, I dream about it, often, and that is not a joke. There is you and a few other artists/ content producers I would hire in a heartbeat if I ever get rich enough to do so.

Hey Jackie. Don't be so hard on yourself. We know that you have had many troubles and difficulties over the time. Personal health troubles (bad), family health troubles (worse), and the emotions and depression that follow them (augh!!!) are things we all have to deal with, and even awesome dudes like yourself are not immune to such calamities... Understand this, we support you because we respect you. We might not be able to pitch in a great deal (individually, our pledges amount to a bit over $2.97 per person), but we nevertheless will donate what we can because we love your work and respect you as a human being. I am glad that the money is proving to be useful, though. With greed being rampant at the top end of town, and the little guy being made to suffer because of it, it is nice that a little bit of sunshine (ugh, natural light!) is still able to shine through in little ways :)

I'm glad we can give back a little to you, who have entertained us and made us think, for so long.

I can't keep it up indefinitely, but I'm in weeds right now, and your comic is a lift. So if I can help the Teen through the Teen years (which suck), or you through the Artistic years (ok, lifetime, but I'm married to one and I know it's not all rainbows and unicorns), then I shall.

No worries. I'm not rich, but I can afford it. And your art deserves a bit of good news now and then. Like I said, please don't count on it forever, but certainly through the holidays.

If NASA selects my mission in 6 months, I might ask you to make a drawing about it (see www.arcusxray.org for details), but otherwise, just think of this as keeping me sane during a tough period. Even if it's a tough period for you as well.
