I had just left the worst job I had ever worked.  One that had left me with legitimate post traumatic stress.  The idea that I was going to write a novel was one that my parents actually signed off on because I'm a decent writer.  Even back then I was okay at it.  So they supported me, but I could never seem to get started.  So I was casting about online, reading webcomics, & thought "I could do that. These guys aren't all that good & they're making good money."  So I started with the idea of making a comic about my friends, then I decided I didn't want to deal with likeness rights if things ever got popular.  I completely switched gears & uses an old movie script I was 90% done with.  That became the original outline of BF.  Anyway, bing bang boom, & here we are.  The patreon completely changed my life.  I went from scraping enough money together to keep things running, to actually being able to buy equipment & pay my insurance & whatnot.  That's all down to you guys supporting content you want.  For that I thank you endlessly.

I was introduced to this wonderful comic back in college by JT and I'm so thankful he did. This has become my fav webcomic and I'm so glad you've created this wonderful world.

You're entirely welcome, your work has given me a lot of pleasure over the years.

I've been here since the black and white days, and I'll be here long after they introduce smell-ovision! I'm glad I can help out one of my favorite comics/artists =D

Congratulations on 15 and may there be many many more!

And you thought you would have run out of stories by now!

I’ve been reading your comic for about 10 years and I love it. It’s been great to see the character development and how each one is enjoyably flawed. Here’s hoping for many more years!

Dunno what to say except I remember discovering your comic, and how it really was the kind of sardonic but sincere slice-of-life I didn't even know I needed. I remember when you first did the character I'm using as the profile pic here, I tried gushing about the strip to my friends who would listen. It was a wild time and a lot has changed but I'm glad you're still going at it, a lot of artists have come and gone from the gag-a-day scene (sometimes because of the very issues you mention above), means a lot that you're still going at it.
