Patreon's messaging system isn't working properly, so I'm making this a post in hopes of catching anyone the message misses.

Okay, I almost have last month's avatar images completed. They'll be the top of the new list.  As always, if you've made a successful pledge (meaning that you've actually paid me) you are entitled to a sketch or an avatar sketch.  email me at betweenfailures(at)hotmail.com and include reference images if it's something I'll need them for.  please include your username for Patreon so I can verify your pledge. I'm sick of seeing avatars I drew that I never got my single fucking dollar for...  as far as sketches go feel free to ask for whatever you like. If its something I cant, or won't, draw I'll let you know so you can request something else.  it's first come first serve and anything I can't complete this month rolls over to the next.

The holidays are a mess and I may have jury duty to deal with, so bear with me, please.

Lastly, thank all of you for putting your money up for me.  Last year would have been the last one for the comic, and probably me, if not for the extra money you guys pay me every month.  I know that may sound hyperbolic, but it is literally true.  Everyone who enjoys the comic, but never pays attention to how it gets paid for owes you for keeping it going, as do I.  Hopefully I will eventually be fully healed and able to provide you with better content in the coming year/s.  There are a lot of days where the only way I find the will to keep living at all is knowing that you few care enough about my work to pay me directly for it.  Less than 400 people pledge here out of a regular readership of around 6000 to 7000 people.  You are precious in my sight.  Don't ever think your pledge doesn't matter, it has made all the difference in the world to me.

Love,

Jackie

Hi Jackie, just in case you are tracking which donors you have done avatars for vs not, I don't need one. Thanks!

Likewise. However, 400/7000 is an impressively high commit rate for comics. No, really. I'm told the usual rate is 1/1000 or less. Usually much less.
