Black Velvet - update on progress! (Patreon)

The next chapter is on the way.

Just a heads up that while I’m updating this series as often as I can, I’m having a more and more difficult time as the chapters that are from the original timeline of events and the chapters of the secondary version of events, (the discarded Goules/“gang” version) sort of come head to head.

I have to extract the original reworked parts and rework scenes to omit the “gang” timeline, as this version of Black Velvet will be more faithful to its first version, as well as additional scenes that help the flow and characterization that I hope to achieve this time around.

This version of Black Velvet has been more Tobias/Oliver-centric.

I’ve toned down the angst, made Tobias more proactive with his feelings, and removed the conflict of the “gang” events, as the conflicts of his day-to-day life are more realistic as less toxic to Oliver. He’s also less of a white knight towards his mom in this version and more so just trying to escape the claws of his home-life, Jameson, and trauma.

I hope this all makes sense to you!
