Update on updates! (Black Velvet, etc.) (Patreon)

Hey there, everyone!

I have a plan for May and in the future!

As you all know, I have several stories, depending on which tier you’re subscribed to. I notice that I do bounce from one story to the next with no actual update schedule (I tend to write in whatever I’m in the mood for), but I’m going to try and take a step back and do things in more of an order this month and see how it goes.

This is my plan!

1.) As you’ve noticed, Black Velvet has become more of a focus. Black Velvet is already a priority story, but thanks to feedback (Black Velvet clearly has the largest audience), I’m trying to direct more time to it to finish the book this year, hopefully.

Extras for Black Velvet (such as AUs and Tobias’ POV chapters, will still be available/ongoing on the five or ten tiers) after its completion.

2.) Wicked Boy is right behind Black Velvet in terms of readership. Still, I realize I haven’t been investing as much time into producing chapters (which is sort of funny, considering it’s not a secret that Ezra and Milan are my favorite couple). Anyway, I plan for this to be my secondary focus from now on.

(I am currently writing in Wicked Boy as we speak! Look forward to a chapter soon!)

3.) My third focus will be on DARLING for the five-dollar tier. I really do pay attention to which stories garner the most response from readers, and at the moment, Darling does have its pool of readers (so it seems! Yay!)

4.) Ten tiers. Being fourth does not mean it isn’t a priority! HUXXX will make a return this month. Teach Me is also very popular with the ten tiers, which is excellent! These two are NSFW AU stories for Black Velvet and Wicked Boy. I’m also happy to see that Cherry Bomb has a following! Do you guys want to see more Cherry Bomb?

I will focus most on HUXXX and Teach Me. I also enjoy doing alternate POVs from Ez and Tobias’ point of view, so look forward to more of those!

I will likely be sending out more physical rewards in the future. I’m unsure of what exactly this will entail.

5.) The Blue House of 1478 has actually started to gain some readers, which is great! We’ve just gotten into the plot of it. The Blue House of 1478, Erebos, and Seraphino will update in between other updates. This is more due to the fact that it takes me longer to write chapters in books that have heavy plots. I have to be very careful when writing each chapter, and it involves a lot of note-taking as well. These books require more thought for me.

I’m considering bringing When Love is Bitter back for a sort of “post when the mood strikes,” but I’m unsure!

6.) DUSK, character questionnaires, behind-the-scenes, podcasts, and videos. I may have overdone it last month with the “extras” instead of writing, so I will try harder to focus on the stories first this month.

On an ending note, so that people understand why I only update every 3-4 days lately...

I’ve been trying to be careful with not rushing my draft stories because I learned the hard way with Black Velvet that heavy rewrites are exhausting. All of my books are now far enough in (especially the main ones) where the plot and character development are in delicate areas and need the attention they deserve.

Thanks to some constructive feedback from a friend, I have been trying to continue writing in a book even after I meet the chapter’s end (instead of immediately editing and posting) so I can keep the flow of the story going and can also write more for future chapters in the same go.

So if there is a pause between chapters or where I haven’t posted in 4 days (like right now), it’s because I am building up backstock of my writing so that I don’t feel so rushed and panicked to produce (like last month) and have not edited what I’ve written yet!

I am constantly writing with every second of my free time. I promise! And that’s all thanks to you guys and your tremendous support, so I really thank you so much!
