Tier ideas (Patreon)

We have reached the end of the month again and I can't believe it! They really do seem to be flying by. I think it's because I've been happy creating what I love and I owe it to you guys and your wonderful ideas, guidance, wisdom, encouragement, friendship, help and more adjectives that still don't even do it justice. You all deserve the best but I think that I might be taking on more than I can handle. I had no idea where this was all going to go when I first started making videos and I've been a little overwhelmed by the amount of content I've promised to create each month. I've never been very good at confronting my own limits, so it's taken me too long to make any changes. I haven't been as upfront and responsive as I should be to you loyal, loving, and paying patrons so with some help I've come to an idea that would change the custom tiers and I wanted to open the discussion up to everyone.

I would get rid of the custom tier levels altogether and replace it with a $30 tier that allows you to place your name on a waiting list for a custom video of at least 15 minutes in length. Anyone can be on the $30 waiting list but there would be a limited number of videos I'd accept each month- probably only three. I'd pick them by doing a live tier-exclusive ASMR lottery at the beginning of each month where I pick a few names randomly from the list and those people get a custom video that month. This would help give everyone a fair chance at a custom video and it would be much more manageable for me. I could also add an ultimate tier for $150, with one slot, that puts you right to the top of the list so that you can avoid the waiting list. I would also add a thank you gift of some kind to that tier. 

The goal with this change is to allow me to focus on fewer people and videos at a time to make each one the best that it can be while also giving those people the communication and updates that they deserve.

I wish that I had all the time and energy in the world to create a custom video for everyone every month but as it stands I don't think anyone is entirely satisfied. I've loved making these videos and getting to know all of you but the work is catching up to me and I hope you guys understand why I need to make a few changes. It's not fair to do this to you right before a new billing cycle so I've decided not to institute anything until you've all gotten what I owe you and until I've heard all of you out. For now I will remove the custom tiers until I've gotten caught up on February videos. If you get charged for a custom video in March before reading these updates you will still get your rewards.
