Tales say that when a Lotharien Ram is dying, its eyes become dark as the night sky, and if you look directly into them, you can see your own death. This magic candle is made from the fat harvested from one of these Rams. The candle has five charges and vanishes when all uses are spent, leaving only its glass flask behind.

You can spend a charge to activate this candle's magical properties when you light it. When you do, the color of the candle's fire changes for 1 minute.

If someone had died a violent death within 60ft of where you lit the candle, the fire becomes vivid red. The candle becomes pale green if someone has died naturally or as a victim of an accident or misfortune. If no creature had died in that area in the past year, the fire becomes light blue.

If there's a ghost or spirit in the area, it must succeed on a DC15 Wisdom saving throw or become charmed by you for the duration of the effect. During that time, the creature is friendly towards you and your allies and is prone to answer your questions voluntarily. If your question is about something the creature was deliberately trying to hide, the creature repeats the saving throw, ending the effect on a successful save. The effect also ends if you or one of your allies harm the creature in any way.

When the effect of the candle ends, the creature becomes Hostile toward you unless the DM rules otherwise.
