[Variant] Candy cane Darts (Patreon)

These darts are made with enchanted candy and chocolate. They smell and taste delicious, and as long as you don't eat them entirely, they regrow every day at dawn. You have a +1 to attack and damage rolls when using one of these darts.

When you hit a creature with an attack roll using these magic darts, that creature must succeed on a DC 15 Charisma saving throw or become filled with joy and happiness for 1 hour. The target becomes friendly to all creatures and loses all will to fight. Instead, they begin to see beauty and magic in all things and an incredible desire to smile and be merry. This effect ends if the target is attacked, targeted by a spell, or harmed in any way.

When the effect ends, the creature becomes Hostile again unless the DM rules otherwise.

Comfort food. As a bonus action, you can eat part of this dart, filling yourself with a reassuring feeling of joy and hope. You gain advantage in all tests against being Charmed or Frightened for 1 hour. If you are already under any effect causing you to be Charmed or Frightened, the effect ends immediately. After using this effect, you can’t use the dart again until it regrows in the next dawn.
