Javelin, uncommon

A Tetzakan’s javelin is never thrown in vain. The Sun Piercer is a magic weapon created by the sun tribes of the eastern mountains. It's made of wood, with golden details and an enchanted jade stone on the tip.

When you hurl it and speak its command word, it transforms into a beam of brilliant sunlight, forming a line 5 feet wide that extends out from you to a target within 120 feet. Each creature in the line, excluding you and the target, must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 radiant damage and become blinded until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes only half as much damage and doesn't become blinded.

The beam of sunlight turns back into a javelin when it reaches the target. Make a ranged weapon attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes damage from the javelin plus 4d6 radiant damage.

The javelin's property can't be used again until the next dawn. In the meantime, the javelin can still be used as a magic weapon.
