Some advice from someone who just got a visa and was declined before: Prep all documents carefully and exam it ,maybe let someone check it again. If something looks wrong ask and fix it before go to embassy. Try and find a reputable bank to help you with your documents. And just be positive and confident at the interview,don't show them you are desperate or angry or something. When they ask a question show them documents about it and tell them why you are going to handle it. About housing 1 month is most likely too short,just try and find a cheap place and book half a year to a year. Sometimes the interviewer might just declined you regardless of your documents so try and find someone in a good mood..........(they don't like you picking interviewer though so be careful)
