I'm dedicating this daily drawing to an important event: revival of the "Broken Heart Bordello" project. The VID: http://dai.ly/x2on7gw Please don't post any "daily drawing suggestions" for tomorrow on this thread. Tomorrow's drawing will be dictated by the suggestions from yesterday's thread ( https://www.patreon.com/creation?hid=2332743&rf=80263 ). Now to the main discussion! BHB is back! Didn't see this one coming, did you? Well, maybe you did... Although most of you probably don't even know what "BHB" is. No matter. Juts go give the game a try. As you all know working on "PT GOLD" takes all my time, but reviving "BHB" was something that wanted to do for a very long time now. After all, first time around the project was put on hiatus long before it had a chance to get boring... And before me and Smersh had any time to run the whole thing into the ground :) Well, now is our chance. Since I don't have any time to spare, co-creator of the original "BHB" - Smersh will be running thing now. I'll to try to steer my friend in the "right" detection with my suggestions, but overall my involvement in the project will be very insignificant, and I'm very happy about that, because I don't want to find myself working on two projects at once... I will be supplying "BHB" with art of course, but you shouldn't expect too many CGs... There original "game" was updated weekly. This one will have no such harsh deadlines, but will retain the episodic structure of the original. Voting should be a big part of the thing, just like before. And if all goes well letting you guys write side-quests also is a possibility. Well, go download the thing and give it a try. Also if you feel like the project deserves support - you know what to do. And if you feel like it you can take $1 from your pledge to me and give it to "BHB". It won't affect your support level here and you will be supporting two projects at once. And finally, huge thanks goes to LykD9. He just overdid himself with this one. The man worked tirelessly editing and at times even re-writing the in-game text. And he did such a great job that I just can describe my gratitude in words T_T And that is that. DOWNLOAD THE GAME HERE: https://www.patreon.com/creation?hid=2337191&rf=80263

I didn't had the chance to try the game, but I know it was a project that was close to your heart, so I'm happy for you that it was started again, and this time I will be able to give it a try, and of course I will give some $ to help, but I will never remove any $ I give to you, you deserve them all, and I will never thank you enough for all your work and dedication to make us happy :)

akabur

Way to guilt me into working even harder, Dorago OTL... Heh, Thank you :)

Отличная новость!

So after playing this game here are my thoughts: "Unlike the other games you've hand a hand in Akabur, this one feels much darker and more serious. Not that this is a bad thing, I enjoyed the story very much. The mechanic of selling the spices and their limited quantity was also pretty cool, since I had questioned why I would ever send Chizza to do any work besides sell spices. The spices are really just to earn enough money to officially live in your home, though I think the next version will need more of an incentive to buy the house. Not progressing the storyline is good, but I think a more powerful con of not buying the home should be introduced. Like being kicked from the house by the city officials, or something else. Otherwise the player could easily just not buy the house, and just keep playing and accidentally spend their money on clothing or other things. Speaking of Chizza, I felt bad for sending her out to do my bidding. Unlike Princess Jasmine who I didn't core to force into labor, Chizza felt too similar to me. She was just a woman who wasn't doing well for herself, her previous life having been taking from her when her husband died. I know she was happy that I was letting her live with me, but that didn't seem like enough for me to force her into working and taking all the profits for myself. I honestly would prefer something more like Witch Trainer, where I did there work to earn the money. Or at least give her more dialogue about accepting the job, where she explains why she wants to work for your benefit. Maybe even make it an option that I can work too, because I honestly felt like I was just sending Chizza off to work while I spent the day sitting around doing nothing. I know that this is a far from what the final product will be like, as the prostitution training and slave buying isn't even a thing in this version. But I look forward to seeing how it comes about eventually, how it plays into the storyline, and the choices I'll be allowed to make. I also am interested to see what happens with the house, as I'm guessing those rooms on the upper floors will eventually be repairable and used for different things." Those are my thoughts, thanks for the opportunity to share them Akabur and Smersh.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. I forwarded your review to Smersh. For myself I can say that I agree with pretty much everything you said. The fact of you as a main character sitting on your ass while Jasmine is working for you always bothered me a little. But in "PT" world you as Genie have a lot of things to take care of other then money-making and Jasmine is pretty much powerless and only thing she can do is make money and get trained. In BHB the similar feeling is present, but only on very early stages. Eventually you as a the main character get busy managing the brothel and other shady businesses. And Chizza is basically your right hand, and eventually becomes a "Mama" of the brothel who is keeping the girls in line... But (And that's a HUGE BUT), that's how it was in the original BHB years back. Like I said before, Smersh took over the project and all the decisions are up to him now. Like you noticed he already made the whole theme a bit darker then it used to be, and some other changes may to follow. We'll see I suppose.

Hm.... Interesting. I will forward this to Smersh. For now just try to load an older save since you seem to be the only one to encounter this bug.
