Thanks for telling us. All the best for you recovery. Nobody gets anything out of it when you work yourself to exhaustion an loose the will to do this anymore. So keep yourself healthy and motivated and like mentioned earlier by another poster, enjoy your "forced" holiday.

Glad it was nothing serious, here by law you are supposed to take 5 minutes each hour you work on the computer to not strain your eyes, so take a note. Health as you say is the most important thing, so think of it as a vacation health festival and enjoy it.

I am a full time programmer and a PC gamer. I spend somewhere around 15 hours a day, 5 days a week just staring at a computer screen. Haven't been to the optometrist for 2 years, wonder if they'll be bomb me with "bad news" on how my eye is doing too :)) Hiring someone would be a great move to speed up work, and make things easier. I was surprised you didn't do it earlier as it seems the project is stressing you up big time according to your vlogs. Take care over there Akabur and keep up the good work!

Whoa. I remember you mentioning eye strain in the past, can't believe it got this bad. I seriously hope you get in the habit of taking breaks every now and then throughout the day when working. Glad you're feeling better.

Hello, guys. Thank you for all your comments and words of encouragement. To save time I will reply to all of you in this thread with those one comment. I am back home now, but I was able to browse through your comments back at Saint Petersburg. I could not reply to any of you back then because I was at some very sketchy looking internet cafe and just couldn't bring myself to type in my login info on their even sketchier computers. But reading your comments made my stay in Saint Petersburg a bit more pleasant and less stressful. Thank you for understanding.
