Update and recap: September (Patreon)

I know it's not quite September just yet, but I though I would make another update now.

So, not to start on a compete downer, but August has been a rather uneventful month for my art really, both creatively and productively. 

Many of the goals I wanted to reach didn't happen and much, if not all of the stuff I stated I wanted to get done in the last update is still unfinished. Which was a shame because the start August had me feeling pretty good generally with my art after being in a bit of a slump. I had some success keeping to a schedule and working on a number of projects on and off and really I felt very confident and hopeful overall. Like I could make some real headway. 

After down scaling my commission list and moving some over to when I next open I felt a massive relief (and still do), however that was a pretty hard decision to make as I had to admit that things were not going too well, and I don't think they are even now, not yet anyway, but I am working on it. 

I did however finally manage to get on top of my Foxy Friday stuff, make a little bit of headway with my commission wips and make some progress on my Ask the Character segment with Roza, however they are all far from done. So ultimately I failed again, I'm not going to make excuses for that either and all I can really do is apologise, however if you wish to remove your pledge by all means do so, I'm not asking you to stick with me out of empathy or blind loyalty, I couldn't deliver as much as I would have liked to this month and that's simply what happened. 

So, with that said, everything I had planned to offer in August is now on the plate for September really. I had planned to make a Draw the Character segment (Where you guys could vote to see which character you would like me to draw, out of a selection of my own chars, or fairly well known furry ones) and do that for some fun. But with the planned workload I have for this month, I think the chances of that will be slim unfortunately too, because I was looking forward to it as well. But we will see, I certainly want to have a go at it at some point. 

So, just to clarify for September I will try my best to bring you the following:

The Roza Ask the Character comic

At least 2 upcoming commission pieces (if all goes to plan)

Foxy Friday (For certain, just might be late every now and again) 

At least two collaborations (Collaborations with other artists) 

Draw the character vote (if I have the time after all that )

With that said, I have a question for you guys too.

Would you like to see my WIP and progression shots for all of the work I do? The reason I ask this is because I do a lot of digital sketches and I must say that, although I put a lot of time into them, I don't always feel they are worthy of documenting as I make them, simply because they are sketches, and to post the WIP's of them feels a little cheap to me. Like a waste of a post, if that makes sense. :P But let me know your thoughts, if you want to see them then I will post them in the future. 

Again, like the last update, if you want to give me any feedback or crit please do so, really I love hearing what you might have to say on the matter as it helps me understand where to improve or change. I don't always feel like I am running my Patreon correctly or incorrectly sometimes, so the more input the better.
