Here are the WIP shots of my latest commission.

Not many as I'd have liked this time as I honestly didn't save many while working through it.

What to say about this one? Well, firstly being commissioned to draw vixens is an instant win and ironing out the variations at the start was very fun.

In total, Cassandra took me about 25 hours, if not 30 to finish which as usual is a little embarrassing.

To be critical of my own work (not to detract from the commissioner's or the viewer's opinion of this picture, this is just my own opinion) I must admit I am quite sick of how long things take me overall and how I fuss about details.

This one had, at the final stages, about 125 layers, which I think is just silly, especially as the overall tone and lighting don't quite match up with the background. I think I need to be a little looser with lighting in future and copy from references more because I really do feel my work is overworked and with not too much to show for it, other than everything taking me ages to finish.

Whatever style I am trying to pursue with these pictures, it's not one that I can just crack out in a day or week, or even a few weeks without living like a complete degenerate, at my pc for hours per day working, what is worse is I'm not even sure quite how to sort this and keep my work consistent except do some more practice and keep going.

Definitely a insane amount of work but it shows, it really does! So nice and big!
