The Moonlit Ball (WIPS) (Patreon)

Here are the WIP shots for my latest piece with my khajiit girl Tsavii at the ball. This pic was kinda spontaneous with me getting the sketch done one evening. I liked it enough to render it with all things considered it does not take me too long to get done as opposed to my usual work, though her spaghetti hair and spots always take a long time. 

The background was actually trickier than I'd expected. In my head I had one of those typical RPG nighttime scenes with lots of blue and green hues in there, which I then backed up with photo refs, though that said it was quite hard to get it right and I'm still not too pleased with it, thinking it looks kinda cartoonish. Also, the layers that went into the pic was ridiculous ha, so next time I'll have to calm down on that. The fewer layers the better, a golden rule which I often forget and overwork stuff. 

At a rough guess, I think this one took perhaps 20 hours or 25. So, not too bad. Glad you guys like it too. Enjoy these WIPs in their PNG goodness. :)
