Justice Beach Story Sketches! (Patreon)

I wanted to show off some old story sketches that would otherwise never see the light of day! Some of these were alternate versions of final episodes or ideas that were scrapped completely.

1) One of their dates was simply Arthur and Diana ditching them at the pier while they were getting ice cream. It was cute but felt too much like an earlier moment, rather than the intentional dates that were the movie theater and surfing.

2) There was a dancing/bar/club moment that led to an alleyway mugging incident that triggered Bruce (and Clark accidentally revealed his identity this way). I really wanted to dress them up like my fave Black Mirror episode but the dancing/clubbing itself was so incredibly out of character.

3) Penguin initially laid it on pretty thick with Bruce murdering Superman.

4) Angy Clark!! 👀

5) The dialogue during the Bruce death confession was fairly different. Clark was a lot more angry at himself. This was changed because I wanted his focus to be more on Bruce rather than how he felt.

6) The JL initially barged in as civvies at the hospital to claim Bruce! This didn't answer Bruce being dropped off as Batman and would blow his cover.

7) The blocking the light moment was Clark brushing Bruce's hair out of his face, but I wanted to fold in the light coming from Bruce's parents in his limbo state.
