Monster (2023) (Patreon)

[Spoiler alert if you haven't watched this yet, also I absolutely recommend watching this as with as little knowledge about it beforehand as possible]

The funny thing about this movie is that I noticed the subtext between them in the train scenes and when Minato had the flower that night before his mom found him, but I just assumed that I was projecting and thus I was shook when it turned out that what I was seeing was intentional! Brilliant movie, I've heard of this director before (Hirokazu Koreeda) but I've never watched any of his work. Instant fan of him and everyone involved in this project but my heart was TOUCHED-

Definitely going in my "Favorite Movies of All Time" list!
