Oof. Damn, Jian just had freaking improptu open heart surgery. No wonder he's not at his best. Also now that we have a better understanding of how high-level formations require higher levels of cultivation, it makes me wonder if Jian is *ever* really going to be a warrior. I mean, sure the steady 'beat' of his heart is really bad for fighting, but it works just fine for the kind of calm workshop work that's already his mainstay. If he can provide for himself and make a serious name for himself as the excellent crafter he is (and his temperament is certainly better suited for it than a warrior's life), might he just do that?
