I just noticed how smoothly you included a reason for the low-level protagonist with strong enemies to not be crushed immediately by their strongest fighter at the beginning of his journey. That was well done. Also it makes me think a good deal about the politics of hiring lesser fighters to act as proxies to powerful clan elders who are limited in their actions by optics and legality.
