Part of my 2022 aims are to upload more consistently to my second channel. I'd like to welcome Lalit, my new editor, who is gonna help me do just that! That means more book reviews, reviews of the Avatar/Lord of the Rings series coming to Netflix and Amazon, more rants, and side discussions for videos.

What would you like to see on there? The aim is to produce more low key stuff that I can't do on the main channel.

Hi Tim! I am going to react here because here, the odds are in my favor that you'll see this message, and after seeing this video, I really want you to know this. About five years ago, my path began to become a professional author. My goal, as a teenage boy, was never to become professional. My parents wanted me to send medicine, so that was what I would do. Writing would therefore remain a hobby, a hobby that I would carry out as professionally as possible because that is simply part of my personality. About 5 years ago I searched every website, every writing video I could find, and literally absorbed every tip. I discovered your channel fairly quickly and watched your videos. They are not only interesting and instructive, but they also explain everything in a very understandable way, so that all the puzzle pieces that you provide fall together very quickly in a way that is very 'logical' for the viewer. When I now read the first texts that I wrote all those years ago, I notice how bad they are. I'm happy about that. It means I've grown, and now I'm on my way to perfection (a road where I'll never reach the goal because that's not possible with creativity.) You're right that your videos today are better than the videos from several years ago. I sincerely hope you keep making videos. I sincerely hope that in 2025 you can say that the videos you made today, in 2022, are no longer good enough for you. That only means that you have become better at what you do, and can therefore are able to set even higher standards. I have six books ready for publication today and contacts about that publication with traditional publishers. I owe that in large part to you. That's why I immediately became Patreon when I saw that the Avatar level was free. It's an honor to let you read a small portion of my work, and get feedback on it. After all, I still have a long way to go, but I am grateful for all your work and the insights you share with us in your videos because they make it easier for me, and many others, to grow, as authors, as people, and as casual viewers. But dear Tim, remember that this does not mean that the videos of the past are bad. You're just better today than you were then, but you only became better because you made these video's in the first place! I'll talk to you soon, and then hopefully I'll have a chance to express my gratitude directly to you.
