See the image attached below, and let me know your thoughts. It's currently a soft and mysterious blue, which is lovely, but it may stand out more in a green or red.

Depends. Do you want the figure holding the staff to be more eye-catching? If so, change it. If not, keep it.

As it is, the color in the top right corner grabs my attention more than the figure in the bottom right. It all depends on what you want for that figure. I think it would be interesting to balance out the sunrise colors in the top with something warm and glowy at the bottom, but it all works out to personal preference
