As a thank-you for your support here on Patreon, I thought a number of you might enjoy reading the academic essays that really formed the backbone to my latest video (it's not uploaded as I'm typing this, but it will be soon!). These will go far deeper into the arguments around Kant and Hobbes, as well as other arguments around what it means to be 'post-human', the importance of faith and reason in 'being human', whatever that means, and other philosophers' thoughts on rights and where they come from. Love to hear your thoughts down below or over on the Discord!

Check out the channel "Robert Miles" for a primer on the subject and science AI safety. Its relatively Beginner friendly, and very very conceptual rather than technical. That is if you wish to learn a little more about the subject. There are a lot of things that the experts and researchers who ACTUALLY WORK AND STUDY the subject of AI SAFETY think about that might be actual problems that often don't show up in fiction as much, or that fiction often overblows specific technical issues that shouldn't be able otherwise probable. Its all about incentive and reward systems, and the designs related to them. Yes a good portion of AI SAFETY literally follows Game Theory and Behavior Economics.
