I live a strange life. I never know what I'm going to earn one month or the next, and I constantly have the looming fear of copyright strikes or demonetisation. Patreon is the light descending from above, the split in the clouds that parts of the storm. You've gotten me to $1000 per month, which is huge. When I first put that up, I did so with the laughable thought anyone group of people would think my content was worth that much. 

With it, I have bought a new expensive mic I needed, a new camera, tripod, new editing software (the best I can buy - Adobe Premiere Pro), and most importantly, it has allowed me to do 'one off' projects that may be a passion of mine, meaning I'm not entirely beholden to the YouTube algorithm. Beyond this, it's allowed me to not be terrified when I miss a video due to exams or personal stress, and it has allowed me to pursue my favourite kind of content, the On Writing series many of you have so graciously supported me for. That content requires me to take a whole week, instead of just a few days, and without Patreon support, it wouldn't be possible. 

You have taken me and my channel in a more sustainable direction, helped choose the content I make, and become a community I have come to love to be a part of. So thank you.
