Please, if you have suggestions for a better title, let me know! I was going to do a video on the Purple Death, Green Death, and Red Death, but it got a little too much and with the funeral and all, I ran out of time/energy/headspace. So it's a shorter video, but I hope you all enjoy clone #87 looking into what the Red Death was originally meant to be like.

It's called the Red Death. Ya I was confused by it too 1st first so I wanted to know why it was called that and I bought the DVD of the movie and the tv animated series and watched the bonus features (commentary, deleted scenes, etc.) And turns out that they didn't know at first the franchise was going to be successful or not so what any animated designers do is mix a bunch of key features of 'Death's (big bad boss dragons) from the actual book series and combined the big bulky body of the Green Death and a couple of little key details/features from the Red Death. One of those was the coral crown-like crest that's on top of its head. And after the franchise took off they've decided to try their best to stick with the book series as possible lore-wise and in the books the first big antagonist was the huge Red Death. On a side note that during the first season of the animated series where we meet Dagur the first time; Dagur mentions that Hiccup was the one who slain the Red Death.
