This took me ages. By ages, I mean I've been editing 13 hours straight today. But I did it! And it was fun. I really feel like I've improved since my last attempt at a video of this kind. I wanted to try doing it on lesser known  battles in the fandoms I look at before I tackle bigger battles that everyone knows like Helms Deep or Amon Hen. Those, I feel, I'd need to get just right.

Anyways, enjoy! And the question of the day noted in the video is: what historical event makes you go "wow"? As in, stops you for how horrifying/thrilling/wowing it is. I think Stalingrad or the Battle of the Bulge, personally.

Stay nerdy!

For me a big historical event that I think about a lot is the contest of the doors, a contest that decided who would make the bronze doors of the baptistery in Florence. It's basically what kickstarted the Renaissance, an age of artistic, economic, political, and educational development! That's just amazing.

Hello Future Me

Oooh, yes! I remember learning about that back in school at one point. I wonder what the world would be like if not for the Renaissance.
