The white tree stands as the symbol of Gondor. It watched and wilted over Minas Tirith in the waning years of the Third Age, but its history goes back to the dawn of Middle-Earth, to the greatest empire of men, and to one of the first treacheries of the Dark Lord Melkor. Let's have a look into the history and lore around the White Tree! This was exciting to write.

ohhh, I'm between cherry blossoms or Japanese Maple trees (I just looked them up and they're really pretty!) I loved this video, Tolkien must have a lot of time on his hands to create so much lore!

Japanese Maples are gorgeous! Tolkien certainly did have a lot of time. Or at least, he wrote all of this over a long period of time. Glad you enjoyed it! I wish we had more cherry blossoms where I live. There's this gorgeous avenue of them at my university.
