Hi just testing the "can do"  and "sorry mate cant do that" 's  of poll posts in here. First  one is the lack of attaching more than one files in the header (like normal patron posts can do)


Next up I want to see if I it shows who voted what. So, pick one or maximum 2 from the 3 options below to help me test things

The thing is patrons can vote multiple times and there is no option to limit that. Of course Tier 2 and 3 that have 2 and 5 voting power can have their votes split that way (as some have asked in the past) But Tier 1 cannot split votes at they only have one.. unless I start adding decimals .. which is a solution.. so we could have a winner by 6,25 votes ^^

Some patrons have asked me in the past to split their votes between 2 girls (since they liked both and could not decide). Tier 2, has 2 votes, so they could easily split them. Tier 5 on the other hand had 5 votes and that means if they voted on 2 options that each would get 2.5 votes. And that introduces decimal score in the voting. Dor which I have no objections. Of course splitting your votes lowers the % each of your voted option gets, but this is not my problem, I just draw tiddies ^^

Basically for now I just test if I can see who voted what (which I can). Then I will see how much of a hassle is to check what Tier every Patron is and what did they vote, to allocate their vote (or % of) accordingly ;)

If I only vote for one girl in the poll but my vote is worth 5, it doesn't seem to represent that since the number only goes up by 1. Also glad to have you back man, hope you are feeling a little better

Thanks Thomas, I feel a lot better ;) Indeed Polls do not know what Tier everyone is or what perks they have. So I will be doing the proper allocation of voting-power behind the scene as I was doing so far from the voting in comments. So, no real change there. I also think of allowing splitting of votes as you and others asked me before. I will announce that on Monday.

It is possible to restrict posts by Tier. So you could have 3 posts, everyone gets to vote on the first one. Tier 2 would be able to be voted on by Tier 2 and 3. Then Tier 3 would be able to vote their own, which would count as 3 extra votes. Although, that may complicate things for you.

Hi Venron, yes posts can be separated by Tier, but seems like the same amount of work more or less. I would also like to keep the weekly posts to a minimum so as to not get people confused. I guess I'll run this for some weeks at least and based on your feedback decide what is best ;)
