What were your thoughts on the Season 1 adaptation?

Overall, it was good. Definitely better than the movie. I am not sure how I feel about Katara being basically a water bending prodigy. From complete newbie to a master level in like I don’t know…a couple of weeks/months? Hard to tell how much time passed. I could imagine them fitting in learning everything Aang needs to learn in two or three seasons if there was some sort of time skip thing. Like he first gets his three masters/teachers and then a time skip. But I feel like they probably won’t do that. I agree with your sentiments on Aang. I feel like he didn’t progress much this season. To be honest, this first season felt more like Zuko was the main character. But that might be because his writing was better this season.
