So about the hiatus you asked in the review for 251-252, it’s a big deal since the anime has never had such a big break, in history, we know that we are in the final saga right now in the manga and anime, yet it still has a lot of stuff to happen, so the story is not ending so soon as some people think, and oda has been posting a lot less because of healt reasons, so it’s gonna take I feel longer to get to the end, but the theory going around the community is that since the remake by wit was announced, Toei felt threatened and felt they could be disposable, so they want to focus right now on making the post timeskip perfect for wit to only have to remake the first part of the story, that why not only improving so much the pacing but the animation for the final saga is key, but also in this 6 month break One Piece didn’t stop posting at all, they started posting a remaster of the first arc of the post timeskip, it’s being reduced by a lot of episode, so having a lot of better passing, and they created a filter and reshadowing for the old animation to make it look 100 time better, almost as good as current animation, so they trying to make the definitive version probably of the post timeskip, and also adding new sound and voice recordings to improve the quality and pacing in the end instead of just having cuts in old audio tracks that don’t feel natural. It’s an amazing time to be a one piece fan, since next year we should be getting Manga, both new anime content by Toei and the new remake, the live action most probably, and also there’s speculation for a new movie to come out, so lots of content 👌🏻
