They just released a new episode for One piece of another side story like they did for Monsters 103, am I able to watch it and not get spoilers or should I be a patient boy and wait?

unfortunately there's way too many spoilers in the new episode up to around ep ~500

Obviously because they were done by Megumi Ishitani. She has basically become One Piece royalty over the past 4 years because she directed 3 episodes that have each become instant classics, including adapting chapter 1000.
