I think it's really interesting what things and people have powers that have nothing to do with devil fruits, like the girl with the color paints they delt with on little garden just had a weird power but not a devil fruit power.

Right, that's still what I'm trying to get use to haha. Not all abilities are based off of devil fruits.

Yeah it's cause they can be in a roundabout way. Cause devil fruits alter your DNA so weird abilities that aren't devil fruits could be passed down. So if Luffy has a kid, they might not be rubber but they might have some latent abilities adjacent to the gum gum fruit

I don't watch fillers because I have a hard time considering most of them as an actual part of the story. Many of them feel completely out of place for me, like bad fan fic. Some fillers are even just a collection of flashbacks (those are definitely skippable) or take place in an alternate universe. I skip most fillers on this channel too. I think G8 is great because it fits the story so well and doesn't feel out of place at all. When I run out of One Piece I watch reactions instead XD which is why I'm here. But I prefer dub reactions because I can play them in the background. And the dub isn't that bad at all, my biggest gripe is Luffy's voice.
