I love this show. It was one of my favorites way back when. NPH is the G.O.A.T. and your commentary adds something just so funny to it.

I’m glad you liked this. I love the songs too. There are many double entendres in the lyrics like when Penny died and Billy started singing, “Here lies everything. The world I wanted at my feet.” He was talking about his victory and ensuring his future as a villain, but he was also talking about Penny who was literally dead at his feet. He gained his crown at the cost of his heart. You said in the end that Dr. Horrible didn’t care and was just evil, but he did care. The very last line was him singing “And I won’t feel…a thing.” It transitioned from the Evil League of Evil and back to his lab in front of his webcam with him looking just dead inside. He is keeping up appearances, but he is suffering. There are Dr. Horrible comics, but no direct sequel. This was made during the 2008 Writers Guild of America strike. No one was filming shows or movies at the time. Joss Whedon got inspired by Felicia Day’s (Penny, and yes, Charlie from Supernatural) web series called The Guild so he decided to make this short web series while the strike was going on. That is why it is low budget. There have been talks of a sequel, but there are pretty big names in this project and they’ve all been busy.
