Hello from Italy and... Well, I'm kind of overwhelmed. Fidgety. Nervous.

I mean, my thoughts are pretty much: 'alright, Meinos, these people are actually sending you some of their hard-earned money, you better make a great first impression and oh my god why are you writing your mental ramblings you moron'. Something like that

I humbly thank you and welcome you to the JPDE Patron. As stated in the mission, all the money you send my way will be used for the game's assets only and in return you will see behind the scenes and have a look at many things that would otherwise be left hidden on my hard-disk forever...

As one of the reviewers said, it's spooky and that's the theme I wanted to go for: I wanted this image to be spooky but also to be sexy. Plus, I wanted the two characters in it to be focusing on different things with their eyes, as exemplified by this ohmygoddon'tlookatme veeeeery rough sketch I did.

Let me tell you, it wasn't easy finding an artist to do this. I put up a paid services post on the Renpy Forums I frequent, and then contacted someone on Hentai Foundry but the end result was... Well, I wasn't satisfied.

I won't show you the final result but trust me when I say that there was no trace of Spooky although there was a semblance -heh- of sexy. Just my luck though that an old acquaitance who I had worked with for another project contacts me, and that would be Flora.

Flora was a life-saver. In record time, with just my sketch, the description and the first version's finished work, in less than a day she provided me with this lineart sketch , done with an Apple Pencil on an iPad.

In less than 36 hours, she then hit me with the finished version -which you can download from this post's attachments-, in ample time to be inserted into the Demo. So once again, thanks, Flora.

And thanks to all who already decided or will decide to support Project JPDE. Just remember that this was an introductory post and it's the only content post that will be available to everyone. All subsequent posts will follow the Patron Tiers Guidelines you can see on the right.
