Brothers and Sisters,
I present to you, the 2024 Patron Blessings!
Passed down and set in stone by the Unholy Ones themselves, these updated tiers are a culmination of an entire year spent building the Church of Doom up from nothing to the young but growing cult it is now.
I'm sure some of you will have specific questions {please ask them below}, so here's a proactive FAQ to try and answer what I expect will be the most common.

I'M ONLY GETTING 6 PDFs A MONTH NOW?

No way! That's just the minimum quantity I've set for myself in terms of strictly scheduled Patreon scripture.
Between custom Martyr content, unlocked live sermon content, and my ever-growing backlog of d6 lists for my own campaigns, there will continue to be more ideas put out each month than you could ever hope to use in your DnD campaigns!
It's also worth noting that the vast majority of content will continue to be exclusive to tithe-paying Patrons.

WHAT'S A ZINE?

"A zine is a self-published work, often in small batches, that contains original content. The term "zine" is short for "fanzine", which is a combination of the words "fan" and "magazine". Zines are usually printed on paper and reproduced with a photocopier or printer."
~ Wikipedia
I've been fascinated with zines ever since I watched this video from Questing Beast in which he flips through his crazy collection of DnD zines. I even started to make a dwarf-themed zine last month, but that idea quickly snowballed {as most of my idea tend to lol} into something I knew I realistically finish alongside everything else and ended up archived.
Fast forward a few weeks, and Runehammer announces he's opening his own game store. A store with shelves he wants to stock not just with 3rd party books, but with zines! That's all it took to relight my creative furnace. So I took a step back and honestly asked myself, "How could you make a zine happen?"
I quickly found the answer written with my 2024 Commandments {weird how journaling and planning can do that huh?} under the section "Document, Don't Create."
Of course! The easiest way to make a zine isn't by writing a bunch of additional content, but by filling the pages with what I've already written! And considering how much I write on a weekly basis, I realized it would take no extra work at all to make a multi-page zine.
And that bring us to now where I'm already in the works of formatting a zine template that I can quickly and easily fill with all of my d6 lists, poll results and commentary, Congregation spotlights, and whatever other things interest me about the hobby that month.
So get excited, because this is the change I'm most excited and passionate about!

NO MORE VOTING?

Not exactly.
For most of last year I left my creative endeavors in the hands of you, my loyal cultists, and I found it to be... demoralizingly tedious if I'm being completely honest. Brainstorming DnD ideas was fun and easy when they were ideas I was passionate about in the moment. When those same ideas were suddenly only being written because "somebody told me to", it was like pulling my own teeth trying to get ideas to paper. It's not a trait I'm proud of, but it's one I've learned to accept and work with rather than against.
That being said, I recognize that a major part of why many people become a Patron is to have some sort of voice in the creative work. So I'm prepared to meet you all halfway haha. There will most certainly be polls posted each month, but I'm not making any promises on what exactly they'll be about.
There might be weeks where I'm feeling uninspired, so I look to you to give me some direction in what I want to write. Or there might be weeks where I know exactly what I want to write, but I leave some of the specific names/monsters/locations used up to you.
Either way, polls will continue to pop up here on Patreon for everyone to participate in. They'll just be more like mystery boxes with their exact focus/purpose different every time.

If you've read all the way to this point, thanks for being one of my absolute most loyal and invested cultists! I'd love to hear your thoughts, opinions, feedback, and ideas down in the comments about these changes in the comments. 🔥🙏🏼🔥
